My area is fairly nice and very, very convenient. Most roads are new, very nice and smooth, the freeway is very close and many, many restaurants around. Still some new homes and businesses being built. There's some construction on 35W going south where it intersects with 287. If you wanna search it up on maps, search the zip code 76137 or 76244. Feel free to PM me if you have questions, it goes straight to my email.

The mid cities area is nice and reasonably priced. Hurst, Bedford, or North Richland Hills are nice and clean with very few apartments which means less crime. Beware of NRH police though as they are dicks.

I visited Forth Worth on my winter break and must say its a very nice city. I will be moving to the Fossil Creek area. Its close to my job at the Bureau of Engraving. Are there any local meets around? Thanks

There used have weekly Tuesday and Sunday meets but both got shut down due to people racing, crashes or complaining residents. Most of the meets are in Dallas/Plano area now..

You will like the Fossil Creek area but only once the interchange is completed Just kidding but no, it really does suck at the moment. Everything else is great on that side of town, you will like it. Pretty laid back over there with very little crime and pretty easy to get to Dallas if need be. Look me up, I live in Granbury about an hour from there.
Good luck,
James

I have a cousin that lived in Grapevine for a while. Looked like a nice place when I was there about a dozen years ago.

Drive it down man, anything over 5 hours in that car is seriously exhausting with that suspension. At that point you are just getting beat up.

Source: Completed a 6 1/2hr trip in the Z, collapsed in the bed when i got home.

Actually the Z is pretty comfortable. I drove to Z Nationals 8 plus hours with no problems. We'll see what happens in the next month. But it would be fun rolling through the mountains in Tennessee.

Just got my ride back on the road and its ready for the 20 hour trip to Texas

No insight on Ft Worth area but I drove my heap from MD to TN or and back a couple of times before moving here and is a good drive. The Z won't kill you any worse than any other vehicle after 8 hours in the seat. It was actually pretty fun drive.
