Any other Dallasites around for some long drives?
 

:hello: I'm looking to see if anyone would like to join me on some routes I like to take to enjoy the car. Sometimes I will go at night but generally I will wake up early around 10am and head out for a drive. Usually mid way through I will stop for a beer or two and some lunch. Here is one of the routes I took today. I have quite a few to keep things interesting. This one has a very nice scenic passing of cedar hill and flower mound.

Perhaps I should have been more specific. I take these routes on weekends as I do work mon-fri. (Kind of a huge thing to leave out) :ugh2:

I'd be interested. However, my schedule is pretty hectic.
I'll pm you if I get an opportunity for a Saturday morning.
I'd be interested in seeing some of your other routes.

One suggestion for great weekday day trip is the Talimena Scenic parkway in southeastern OK. I did this a couple of years ago and literally had the road to myself. The drive up & back was about 7-8 hrs from Flower Mound, but was entirely worth it
