Basically it helps return the toe to stock setting without having to adjust the toe. It helps returns the suspension geometry back to stock. It is also forged so its able to handle more stress from those who plan on tracking their Z. they're a good addition for people who want that extra edge on handling. Also if you look at the tie-rod heads in the comparison picture the Moonface one has a longer head that allows the tie rod end to lie on the same level they were prior to coil-overs (height changed caused by lower struts).

its a little hard to explain, but little things like these are what make the difference when everyone has coilovers

They add the necessary (and extra, in the case of lowered vehicles) fine-tuning range that the stock tie-rods cannot. These also work well for stocks cars as they make it easier on the person performing the wheel alignment.

These are the nicest I've seen for the 370Z to date.

Its what they call a Rear LA Adapter. You replace the rubber and nut on the rear upper arm so that you can return to oem geometry even after you you lower the car.

would this in essence correct for bump steer being affected by lowering the suspension? sorry for the questions and no purchase, kind of on a suspension guru quest

no, for that you would need the roll center adjuster. This is just another aspect in getting the perfect suspension geometry
