PM sent...could we get a little bit of customer reviews on these? like experiences on the g and such..? links to forum discussions somewhere else?

Oh yeah another thing, the videos by hotchkis look like absolute BS, I would be embarrassed to put those up for both the Z and the G.

I know from my STI that they make good products, so I'm looking past that for some real feedback from people who have it and maybe track their cars.

travisjb 02-17-2009 10:51 PM

I'm interested too and would echo RCZ's request for some hands-on reviews... also, what are the other options available now or expected in near future...

maybe RCZ and I could test them out for you and post our experiences ? :)

THMotorsports 02-18-2009 10:25 AM

Hotchkis isn't some fly-by-night company. This product is tested & proven to fit the 370Z.
Quote:

All Hotchkis Sport Suspension components are tested and punished on our 600 ft. slalom, 200 ft. skid pad, and 14-turn Autocross course. Results from the ¼ mile acceleration and 60 to 0 mph braking tests are compiled. Complete data for stock and Hotchkis Sport Suspension equipped vehicles is gathered and evaluated. Performance gains are documented and any component not meeting our engineer's rigid standards of fit and performance are critiqued, redesigned, and retested.

Agree, agree..

Will Hotchkis share the data from its testing ? if the data tell the right story, consider me in

RCZ 02-18-2009 10:53 PM

Travis - Did that look like a very scientific test to you? lol

I don't doubt hotchkis at all, they make good products as I said. However, there will be other subsequent choices for swaybars so it would be nice to get some hard data...

I would be glad to make an HD video review for you all...just everyone paypal me $5 bucks till I can cover a decent part of the cost :) $5 gets you an objective video test with a write up and actual constants in the test, not just someones :Feeling:

travisjb 02-19-2009 02:24 AM

The NISMO set may also be out... comparative data would be most helpful... suppose you want us to buy you both sets huh RCZ ? ;)

think it'll be limiting to have 3 discrete adjustments as opposed to variable ?

RCZ 02-19-2009 11:53 AM

Nah just the Hotchkis...no?..ok it was worth a shot :) I figured I gotta get something other than satisfaction out of all the time and effort it takes to do that. I do like to help though so who knows..

THMotorsports 02-20-2009 11:34 AM

I'll sell one pair at cost to the first person willing to post a detailed review of them!

RCZ 02-20-2009 05:54 PM

PM me what Cost is. Dibs if its low enough ;)

nogoodname 02-20-2009 05:57 PM

^^ classic post...... if it's low enough

travisjb 02-20-2009 11:51 PM

Looks like RCZ definitely got dibs !

But... I know that some folks are going to be happier with two reviews ! :) Perhaps RCZ and I can write two viewpoints ??? Mine would be combined with your rear camber kit, which is already installed

My next event is march 6/7/8 at PIR... you know my paypal is fast !
