G’day everyone,
Hope you don't mind us piping in but we were just told about this forum and post and wan ted to answer the tech question. Ryan, thanks for your support. The 370Z sway bars have been trialled on some Time Attack cars to make sure sizes are good. We're actually looking to add a 29mm front bar to the range. We expect availability of range in early March. The adjustable swaybars will 2 point adjustable front, 3 point on the rear. As for the brochure, all I can say there is that we must have been in a rush to get the information out there so we'll take a close look and come back to you. Thanks for the input. Hope that helps clear things up. Before pricing I'm looking for final answers on diameters vs. stock. Even just knowing the stock diameter would be very helpful.
From the PDF file: "The front sway bar (BNF41Z) features a solid 33mm adjustable set up, whilst the rear sway bar boasts 24mm (BNR37Z) in diameter. Both offer 2 points of adjustment allowing their stiffness to belever arms." "BNF41Z Front 27mm 2 point adjustable sway bar BNR37Z Rear 24mm 2 point adjustable sway bar" Lots on inconsistencies. I know WhitelineJim touched on this, but has it been fixed? |
Let me check into it. The inconsistencies on diameter have been something I have brought up to them before. Last I heard 27mm was the current sizing with a 29 being a possibility in the future. I believe the 33mm is the incorrect size.

G’day everyone,
Just got the following details from the tech guys and thought you might like to know. They also send some photo's that you might find interesting. Quote:

Thanks for the info and pictures Jim! :)

Wow looks like its coming along nicely... so... if i wanted to keep my relative under/oversteer ... and wanted to get stiffer - Which settings would you recommend? I want the car to feel as neutral as possible - agreed that stock has a touch of excess understeer...
|
The instructors that drove and rode in my car seemed to feel that the rear needed much more stiffening than the front. The most I could tell was that both needed work lol.
The car definitely did push some while hitting the tighter turns. Nismo has the same sways as non-Nismo right? For some reason that question has always escaped me. |
Ha ha yea I believe Nismo sways are the same as the sport pkg sways ... Wonder how soft up front + med in the rear would feel....
|
we still have a couple sets of these unspoken for!

So what do you require from me to put my name down on the list? How much upfront and whats the pre-order price? I am very interested in whiteline - was about to get cusco but decided it would be overkill if i did coils + cusco sways as they are ridonkulously stiff
|
sent you a PM :)
