Not even sure if this is where this goes, But I hava thread going on over on MyG37.com and just thought I would put this over hear, How Stillen pretty much screwed me,, Check out the thread and the " ONE " Stillen reply in it.

Did any get the Stillen bucks? Or was promised them the then told you would not get them?? I was told to tale a long walk of a short pier and hung up on twice,, IMO they have the worst customer service I have ever delt with.


Long story short as some of you know I bought their SC kit along with the tranny and oil coolers over a month ago, I was told by them that I would recieve $500 Stillen bucks on just the SC kit plus additional bucks on the coolers, We talked about using them for brakes or the engine cover for the kit, So I decided to go with Stillen and was going to use the bucks for front pads and rotors, Now after the kit is installed( An had issues with the tune) I was told NOPE your not getting them ... Their excuse was because I bought the kit through my dealer who is an authurized Stillen dealer and which I told Stillen before I bought the kit and was told it would not be an issue.. Now it is an I cant stand them..

Really becasue I did not buy the kit direct from them??? I spent more $$4 buying from the dealer( Sales tax) Which I was told I would not have to spend if I bought direct,, But because I was told it did not matter I went through the dealer for it was easier for me to have them order it and have it shipped to them opposed to having it shipped to me and having to drive it to the dealer ,,,, Stillen service FTL BIG TIME.

ok now just getting rediculous. So I called last week again( What the hell ), Did not want to anyone other than a manager, I spoke the secratary, She told me she would have someone call me back,, . .... So about 2 hours later I get a call from a guy( Says he is a customer service managr) I talk to him for about 30 mins- tell him everything (including this thread) that has happened , How dissapointed I am in them, He assures me he will fix this and call me back in 30 mins, an NO WORRIES I will not hang up on you and I will call you back, 30 mins I WILL call you back, UM Still waiting( 6 days ago)...

You must be upset, I could barley understand what you were trying to say.

Don't worry OP... I understood your post. The most ideal situation would be for someone from Stillen to post in this thread. Not sure if that's gonna happen though. Hope everything gets resolved.

If it's true he has a legit reason to be upset.

I was , and am still upset, They ( Stillen) posted once in my thread over on G37, basically said I do not listen and deserve nothing.. To be honest , IF something doesnt happen I'm going to try to talk to the owner, OR the GM of the place.. Just think its rediculous that you spend that kind of $$$ on a product and no one can stand up an talk to you and resolve the issue..

Id be more pissed about their shity tune and only getting 300tq out of a custom tune

Would be VERY surprised if Stillen replys here.

Their tune was AZZ, Really getting 300 WTQ on a X coupe and being a 7spd auto, ,Not really looking to blow up the trans. 300 WTQ is very good IMO.

thats just over stock torque though... some guys are getting 265-270 trq with bolt ons... I would demand what they promised you. We all know what you bought isnt cheap.

As far as the stillen bucks go...

Did they know you were buying 3rd party when they offered you stillen bucks?
Its possible you didn't get the stillen bucks due to them discounting the SC to the middleman and buying it from them may net you $500 instead of them discounting the middleman.

Either way. You are the umph-hundredth person NOT happy with stillen since the Z33 refresh. I think their reputation have gone to there heads and now they feel invincible due to a lot of mag hype and initial forum worship. And stillen has been surpassed. At one time, if you owned a Nissan? You bought stillen or nothing. This is no longer the case. Maybe its partial bitterness? Who knows. All I do know is that there's a plethora of unhappy stillen custy's and I stay away...

Oh and the few times I dealt with them on my G35. God they were the epitome of rude... I'm born and raised in a brooklyn ghetto, FOR ME TOsay they are rude, means something. Lol.

I agree, that's why i chose to stay away from Stillen for my exhaust, back when i wanted a 350z they were known for their quality though. All I hear now about Stillen is they are not nearly as good as they used to be. I always liked, and i am very happy with Tanabe.

Yes they know, I was getting it from a authorized dealer of theirs. But then tried to back track when I called for them,. Maybe they made a mistake telling me that or something but the way I have been talked too,and they way this has been handled is :(.

im going to go remove my stillen swaybars right now.

I'm not get into a dyno numbers issue, But my before tune WTRQ was 240. Guys with 275 WTRQ are on inflatted dynos. Numbers on the dyno I was one was stock cars where about 215-200 WTQ modded cars where anywhere from 240-250 WTRQ,, So me being 300 WHTQ is a 60 WTRQ increase and I got over 100 WHP.

BTW the Stillen kit out of the box made sh$t.. 352 WHP and 270 WHTQ.. NO WAY it was 515HP out of the box .. Remember I have a 7spd auto.
