What makes him a big fake douchey guy? Maybe he's hosting the Olympics because he's experienced in live speaking (i.e. radio show host & a tv host for one of the most watched shows in America)... No need to hate on a person's success.

He just seems so hollywoody to me (and I am in socal and work in entertainment). but really, I just don't think he is a good match for sports. I just can't see him and the Olympics together. I'm okay with his success. He can do all his American Idol and all his entertainment stuff, that's his thing. He just feels very 'trying to be cool' to me. Anyhow, this is obviously my opinion and you are free to (and did) disagree with me.
