We play you on 1/5, if the Lakers win you will have to change your profile photo from Rin to the Lakers logo for one week. If the Geezers win I will change mine for one week to the correct logo, deal?

:bowrofl:

Yup looks like the lakers took that one, good prediction

Knicks just played sloppy and angry, they kept yelling at the refs :shakes head:

and did anyone catch the ankle breaker Kobe gave Melo when they squared off 1-1. Lol, Melo was asking for it when he exchanged words with Kobe when he had the ball...and he right fully got what he deserved.

I give it up to Kobe to continue to play with that wrist injury though, it looked really swollen at the end of the game.

Great game!

Lakers played great D, but I agree that the Knicks were not themselves for sure.

2-2 without Bynum is pretty good in my opinion ;)

I'll take that any day.

Get Bynum out of here. One of the announcers said he was number 2 center in the league after Dwight....

Not last night :icon17:

Z's right though, most big men nowadays are happier to face the basket and be a jump shooter rather than a postup player.

A balanced center nowadays (offense/defense) is pretty rare, most just focus on Defense.

Other than Dwight Howard, Bynum is the only dominant center IMO.

Waiz 12-30-2011 01:19 PM

BTW, I read this last night and it's pretty bad:

T.J. Simers: Andrew Bynum has the cars, but does he have drive to grow up? - latimes.com

That is true, Bynums FT% is greater than Howard and Chandler, he shoots the ball more than the other two do.

but how can we forget about Shaq Diesel??? Lol, he was the most dominant center!!

But of course we are talking right now and DH, and Bynum are def in the top 3 centers in the league, but we cant forget about Chandler, he put up good numbers last season, and he is def in the running behind DH and Bynum.

and yesterdays game the Knicks were playing too hurried (they arent the Heat :icon17:)

edit: and yeah that article about Bynum is pretty funny, he prolly had dope in the car, a dd on the low. LOL

KingZee 12-30-2011 02:48 PM

Bynum just needs to stay healthy for an entire season and grow the f up and he'll easily be the 2nd best center in the league...The talent's there he just tends to be a dumb azz at times.

I was watching NBA TV a few weeks back and they talked about how the kids coming through the ranks nowadays are no longer playing like Centers. They are following the Durant/Nowitzki mold and trying to be big guards.

It's sad to see but it's a reality.

:werd: he played in 54 games last year during the regular season which was the higest in a few years but we need him for 70+ games.

Yeah I dont care much for these kind of articles, they try to change your opinion on a person by writing something negative or not so pleasant about them.

At the end of the day it shouldn't affect how you view that person. Kind of like saying Michael Jackson was a child molester, but it doesn't mean it made him any less great of an artist. :icon17:

Yeah because how many centers do you know (other than Shaq) that have really made a name for themselves. I mean DH is on the rise, but you see more legends in the NBA coming from the Guard and Forward position (i.e McGrady, Bryant etc)

So players know where they can reach popularity, where they can be seen as a legend in their later career. So they start to follow the same mold. But I say if god gives you the physical frame of 7'0+ and weighing more than 250+ pounds, you should stick to what you can do best, I really don't think anyone would want to see Yao Ming play the guard position. :rofl2:

nmjaxx9 12-31-2011 08:14 PM

Looks like Bynum put in work his return game 29 pts, 13 rb.

KingZee 12-31-2011 08:44 PM

He plays like that consistently and he'll definitely be the second best center in the league.

Waiz 12-31-2011 09:48 PM

Monster game from Bynum, I recorded the game and just watched the whole thing :)

KingZee 12-31-2011 09:51 PM
