Giants got a lucky break with that punt. Looks like this one is gonna go down to the wire.

m4a1mustang 01-22-2012 09:28 PM

Wow he did it again.

Giants vs. Patriots. I think the Giants are the better team of the two at the moment.

Does anyone else hate the NFL OT rules? I wish they would just give them a 10min quarter and whoever has highest score at the end wins. Hate sudden death.

*No, I'm not a 49er fan.

Yeah I am not a fan of sudden death OT. I think you could give them 10 minutes and if they are tied after that then you can go to sudden death in the interest of time.

I think the Patriots are going to win this time around. I think in this "pass happy, stand back in shotgun and throw 60x's a game" era of football, a high powered offense will win you games more so then a dominate defense.

I don't know... I think it might be close but I think the Giants are in better position. I don't think the Pats have really been tested at all in the post season. Broncos wasn't a game at all and I feel like they won today because the Ravens just beat themselves. I think it's going to be tough for them against the Giants.

I hope you are right! Can't stand the Pats.

IMO the 49er's should have won if their special teams hadn't screwed up twice. I'll be rooting for the Giants though. I can't stand the Patriots.

And if the Giants don't beat the Pats, we'll have to deal with b1ades' trolling for a few more months. :bowrofl:

:iagree:

Today was about the better teams (IMO) beating themselves.

Skeeterbop 01-22-2012 09:59 PM

And I agree with the 10 minute OT thing. Or they could adopt the college football overtime rules. I would be happy with that.

Yeah and it's gonna be a close game for the SB too. Might also come down to one mistake at the end to decide who wins. I think both teams have good momentum going in to this. Their offenses did well in the regular season, but their defenses were bad. Now their defenses are stepping up and helping them win these games. Both teams got tested against great defenses today and their offenses did enough to get them the win.

This time around it will be differant. The Giants won't need a helmet catch to win. Eli and the D will put some distance between them and the Pats. Sorry Blades maybe next year.

I will never accept that. We're going to win this! :icon17:

I just hope Gronkowski is ok and will be healthy by SB time.
