blue660r01 04-27-2010 02:11 PM

batman_4 04-28-2010 02:16 PM

that was a horse sh!t call !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:mad::mad::mad:

damn ref is cutting Barca a break, Messi's little move on Maicon should have been a yellow too.

phelan 04-28-2010 02:22 PM

ya, but that's expected. add that inter is a mad down its inevitable. it was like 75% barca and 25% inter lol.

that ref is seriously all on Barcas nutz. the little hit Messi did on Maicon when we was literally out should have been a yellow, also i think Ibra planting his food to get Sneijder was dirty. Toure keeps falling in the area without being touched too.....fcuking lame.

phelan 04-28-2010 03:18 PM

phelan 04-28-2010 05:12 PM

bayern is in good shape to give inter a run for its money.

but major props to inter for demolishing barca. just wish it was arsenal somewhere still in the mix, but eh...whatever.

Red370 04-28-2010 05:56 PM

Ok gentlemen, who called it? <<< this guy did.

Should be a great final, glad somebody finally hushed Barca, it gets boring when the same team wins EVERYTHING. Now, Arsenal, spend some cash, reinforce the team, and win a damn trophy next year, i dont care if its the damn Carling cup, WIN SOMETHING for christ sakes.

batman_4 04-29-2010 03:52 PM

AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi says coach Leonardo is leaving the club at the end of the season.

The Italian prime minister told Thursday's Corriere dello Sport that "yes he is going."

He added that "Leo was too stubborn and the team played badly. However, he is a good person and a good coach."

wooooo! glad but have my doubts because they didn't really let him mesh into the team and well they didn't give him that many players to work with. Now Berlusconi needs to find a way to get rid of Galliani cuz he picks loves picking old players.

blue660r01 04-29-2010 06:56 PM

I want Ronaldinho on Bayern!!!

phelan 04-30-2010 10:57 AM

hahahaha they showed busquet's little 'act' on espn's 'not top 10' list this morning. i love how he baits the ref into giving thiago motta red card.

barca's entire team is full of douches. hell, they even got the groundsmen in on it when they turned the sprinklers on while inter was still out there WTF lol

and yes, messi is good, but he sucked in that game lol...too bad he couldn't fall out of form when arsenal played

Bayern Munchen because of this Dutchman. I understand one man doesn't make a football team, but to be successful at this stage of competition, you need a playmaker who knows how to FINISH. We all should know by now what he's capable of...

Unfortunately, Bayern will be without Ribery, but I would expect Schweinsteiger, Olic, and Gomez to step up big time. Inter's pretty stout defensively, but they will definitely need everything from Lucio, Zanetti, Cesar and Maicon to keep Bayern out of the net. And even more so they need either Eto'o, Milito or Balotelli to put them up quickly. For me, the team who scores first will win the match.

Red370 05-17-2010 06:50 PM

werd. Robben has been a revelation, wtf were Real thinking when they let him go?

phelan 05-20-2010 12:04 PM

so anybody have predictions for the CL final?

i want bayern to win, but honestly, inter is in the form of the century for their team. i'm thinking 2-1 to inter milan, with robben scoring a wicked volley from beyond the box AGAIN to get the consolation goal.

Unfortunately I have to agree, as much as I hate Inter, they look unbeatable.

blue660r01 05-20-2010 08:33 PM

Jon Bayern will be just fine without Ribery.

2-1 Bayern. Olic and Robben score for Bayern and Milito scores for Inter.

blue660r01 05-22-2010 01:12 PM

Here we go! 30min! Not only that but RIbery signed with Bayern until 2015!

yeah, too bad the contracts arent even worth the ink they're written on, he can still leave when he wants... alot of clubs do this so that when other teams want a player, they have to pay a ludicrous buyout clause. I hate this aspect of soccer.

blue660r01 05-22-2010 02:05 PM

Bayern should be up 1-0 already. There was a handball in the box from Maicon that the ref didnt call.

Red370 05-22-2010 02:20 PM

ugh, seen that one coming.. great run by milito.

Red370 05-22-2010 02:23 PM

Bayern defense is starting to show a major lack of pace... Lahm has been the only bright spot i've seen back there.

Red370 05-22-2010 02:30 PM

you can definitely tell that Bayern miss the creative presence of scarface, their attack is dismal.

blue660r01 05-22-2010 02:30 PM

What do you know? Those handballs the ref didnt call came back to benefit Inter

Red370 05-22-2010 02:34 PM

didnt see em, just found a stream online about 15 minutes ago, stupid ESPN for not having this broadcast.

blue660r01 05-22-2010 02:38 PM

2 handballs in the box....ref didnt call it....then Milito scored now its 1-0 Inter. If this game ends 1-0 I will be absolutely pissed because those no calls absolutely are screwing Bayern over. Bayern are outplaying Inter right now.

Red370 05-22-2010 03:10 PM

AJ's playing his ass off, i'll give him that, keeper was lucky to get a jump on that bending left footer, that thing was headed for the top corner. Coach mustve lit a fire under their asses at the half, they've come out guns blazing this time around.

Red370 05-22-2010 03:13 PM

ah man, Milito sealed it. Great individual effort, damn.

Chriz 05-22-2010 03:37 PM

Congrats Inter

blue660r01 05-22-2010 03:47 PM

So Bayern will be back next year with a stronger squad....Ribery will be playing as long as he doesnt do another stupid foul (which did NOT deserve a 3 game suspension). If they dont pick up a new CB maybe they will move Badstuber to CB and put Contento at LB.

As much as I am angry for Inter catching a huge break, Milito had 2 great efforts especially the 2nd one.

One more thing. I am sure some of you will agree with me. I do NOT like Inters style of play at all. They ALWAYS seems to sit back the entire time and it kinda takes away from the fun...when they actually attacked and each team were able to counter it was interesting. Dont make Bayern press the entire game it gets boring.

batman_4 05-22-2010 04:14 PM

It's not necessarily Inter's style (although italians are known for good defence) of play but Murinhos style. He always seems to have a disciplined back line and he takes advantage of that....but i agree it gets old.

Milito killed it though..

bayern need to new/faster center backs...Diego took them to school.

Demichaelis and Van Buyten get my vote for slowest center backs in soccer history, Milito embarrassed both of them, Bayern need to acquire more speed at the back, hopefully they'll be active in the transfer market.

God Milito has ice water in his veins, he was lights out today. I was pulling for Bayern, but they didnt seem to be able to string together a series of creative plays today.

And i'll agree with Batman, Mourinho seems to have a unique style, brings the best out of any team he goes to, he really is the "special" one. Guy turns teams to gold.

I dont remember him using this style with Chelsea...just sayin lol. I know Italian league is more tactical and defensive but if you compare AC Milan to Inter Milan you will see what I mean. Its seemed Inter has been like this for a while no matter the coach. Just reminds me of USA soccer....sit back and wait for the counter attack.

Demichelis is slow but very powerful and when he is good he is GREAT...but like I said inconsistency is the issue. Van Buyten I dont believe is slow...keep in mind he was originally a striker lol

Well, win or lose I view it as a VERY successful season for Bayern. They started slow needing to click with the changes and did very well. Much better than many people had given them credit for. Two trophies are enough to ask for being many teams dont get that opportunity....a treble would have been nice though!

Red370 05-22-2010 05:52 PM

yeah, 2 trophies is nice, which is more than I can say we at the Arsenal have done in the past 5 years...
