Bayern should be up 1-0 already. There was a handball in the box from Maicon that the ref didnt call.

Red370 05-22-2010 02:20 PM

ugh, seen that one coming.. great run by milito.

Red370 05-22-2010 02:23 PM

Bayern defense is starting to show a major lack of pace... Lahm has been the only bright spot i've seen back there.

Red370 05-22-2010 02:30 PM

you can definitely tell that Bayern miss the creative presence of scarface, their attack is dismal.

blue660r01 05-22-2010 02:30 PM

What do you know? Those handballs the ref didnt call came back to benefit Inter

Red370 05-22-2010 02:34 PM

didnt see em, just found a stream online about 15 minutes ago, stupid ESPN for not having this broadcast.

blue660r01 05-22-2010 02:38 PM

2 handballs in the box....ref didnt call it....then Milito scored now its 1-0 Inter. If this game ends 1-0 I will be absolutely pissed because those no calls absolutely are screwing Bayern over. Bayern are outplaying Inter right now.

Red370 05-22-2010 03:10 PM

AJ's playing his ass off, i'll give him that, keeper was lucky to get a jump on that bending left footer, that thing was headed for the top corner. Coach mustve lit a fire under their asses at the half, they've come out guns blazing this time around.

Red370 05-22-2010 03:13 PM

ah man, Milito sealed it. Great individual effort, damn.

Chriz 05-22-2010 03:37 PM

Congrats Inter

So Bayern will be back next year with a stronger squad....Ribery will be playing as long as he doesnt do another stupid foul (which did NOT deserve a 3 game suspension). If they dont pick up a new CB maybe they will move Badstuber to CB and put Contento at LB.

As much as I am angry for Inter catching a huge break, Milito had 2 great efforts especially the 2nd one.

One more thing. I am sure some of you will agree with me. I do NOT like Inters style of play at all. They ALWAYS seems to sit back the entire time and it kinda takes away from the fun...when they actually attacked and each team were able to counter it was interesting. Dont make Bayern press the entire game it gets boring.

It's not necessarily Inter's style (although italians are known for good defence) of play but Murinhos style. He always seems to have a disciplined back line and he takes advantage of that....but i agree it gets old.

Milito killed it though..

bayern need to new/faster center backs...Diego took them to school.

Demichaelis and Van Buyten get my vote for slowest center backs in soccer history, Milito embarrassed both of them, Bayern need to acquire more speed at the back, hopefully they'll be active in the transfer market.

God Milito has ice water in his veins, he was lights out today. I was pulling for Bayern, but they didnt seem to be able to string together a series of creative plays today.

And i'll agree with Batman, Mourinho seems to have a unique style, brings the best out of any team he goes to, he really is the "special" one. Guy turns teams to gold.

I dont remember him using this style with Chelsea...just sayin lol. I know Italian league is more tactical and defensive but if you compare AC Milan to Inter Milan you will see what I mean. Its seemed Inter has been like this for a while no matter the coach. Just reminds me of USA soccer....sit back and wait for the counter attack.

Demichelis is slow but very powerful and when he is good he is GREAT...but like I said inconsistency is the issue. Van Buyten I dont believe is slow...keep in mind he was originally a striker lol

Well, win or lose I view it as a VERY successful season for Bayern. They started slow needing to click with the changes and did very well. Much better than many people had given them credit for. Two trophies are enough to ask for being many teams dont get that opportunity....a treble would have been nice though!

Red370 05-22-2010 05:52 PM

yeah, 2 trophies is nice, which is more than I can say we at the Arsenal have done in the past 5 years...
