CF Roof! Flush mount fit
Well as you all know we have been working hard to make the best carbon fiber roof overlay available and here we go the prototype!
Its made of 1 layer of 2x2 carbon fiber 5.7 oz and 1 layer of 1.5 oz matting. It weighs less than a few lbs and believe it or not sits flush! Check it out for yourself! Sorry for no finished pictures. I just pulled it from the mold a few min ago (10 30 PM) And thought Id show you guys! This is how it fits snug underneath the side A pillars (the pillars that stretch from the fenders to the quarter glass, and yes they do come off) Since they fit underneath it makes it look like its not an overlay. http://i623.photobucket.com/albums/t...6/SSPX1737.jpg http://i623.photobucket.com/albums/t...6/SSPX1734.jpg This is showing how flush it is with the sides. It actually site a tad lower so it looks even better! http://i623.photobucket.com/albums/t...6/SSPX1738.jpg This is the over all untrimmed look. http://i623.photobucket.com/albums/t...6/SSPX1733.jpg Also keep in mind it looks that way only because its not wetsanded and clear coated yet. MSRP : $650 370Z.com price : $599.99 Introductory price : $500 Shipping : $40.00 We are only taking one or two orders at the time at most so we dont get backed up with work. S.A.J.,
your work looks great man! I am going to have to fool around and see what that would look like with my PG Z. Really nice work! Brian |
that's really good !!
got to see pics of it cut out and done. this is where mastergrade dropped the ball big time by not having the CF fit to the edge exactly and left a stream of white on the edges...looked real bad...lol |
sorry if this is stupid, but when you say overlay you mean it just sits on top of the stock roof?
