I see a few z's hear and there... most of the time I wave and get ugly looks back...

That's from people who know nothing about the Z's except that "It's a cute car". There's a few like this here aswell.

At no problem raceway they do drag racing from 8pm-12.
Its mostly all street driven cars.

Yeah it's just for fun kind of like test and tune night at the track. It's at the same location as No Problem Raceway (NPR) 1/4 mile drag but the road course, auto-x, open lapping is at Circuit Grand Bayou (CGB), and they usually do the CGB stuff during the day on weekends and whatnot. You are also able to rent the track atleast the CGB part not sure about the drag part NPR. It's fun we went alot back about ten years ago when i had my SC Vette, looking forward to getting back going again.:tiphat:

Hey guys, I've been lurking around the forums for a while and I'm from the Baton Rouge area. I've been searching around for a Z for months now and finally found one!

I'm going to pick it up next week! I know someone mentioned about a Z car meet around here.. have their been any plans for that? I know there are a ton of Z's around BR and a lot of them usually meet up on Thursday evenings.

Sometime i goto the thursday night meets but theres never any z's. Last week there were 2 350's. I'm not 100% if I'm going out there tomorrow or not though.
Do you normally go out there?

Yeah dude, I've seen a couple of 370s here and there, but I usually go at least a week in between seeing them. I did have some chick drive past me on I-10 in a silver 370Z last week and she was smoking....

Was the sliver 370 a non-sport (no wing, etc) ? I've seen a sliver non-sport on 10 when i was headed to biloxi with a girl driving a blonde i do believe.

anybody going midnight madness on Nov. 6th? I'll be down to go if we can get enough people. I won't be running the car but it will be cool to meet some new 370z owners.

I'm kicking it around but won't know til that day. Would be fun, maybe even get together in the day for some pics anybody got a cool spot.

Well if you are coming from Biloxi, would anyone be interested in meeting earlier that day just for a meet possibly in the New Orleans area then who ever wants to go to NPR for midnight madness we can convoy out there that evening? I would even be willing to go to BR, but that is a longer drive from Biloxi...

Any ideas?

the meet will probably be in Marerro, LA but not sure yet I have to confirm with punk86. I'm currently station in Gulfport, MS at the the seabee base so if you want we can meet up somewhere in MS and then just cruise down to LA.

What color 370 do you have. I've only seen 2 other ones, a black and a silver one.

I'm over at Keesler. I drive a black Z. I have seen a few around base, 1 yellow, two silver, and two black(one being mine). I think the yellow one left, I think he was here TDY. I'd say we can meet this weekend but unfortunately I'm going to be busy moving out of my apartment but I will be living in Gulfport, a lot closer to your area.

Was that you in the black 370? I've seen you around out there a few times. I wanna say I've met you before.. many, many moons ago. Do you know EJ, Dibble and the guys from Womack in Denham?

One of the guys out there in the 08 350 is pretty cool... I can't say much about the other guys as I've never talked to them.

Haha yea you're right. The catch is... I'm flying to Denver to get it! I'm picking it up Friday morning and then staying a few days to go ski and such. I'll be driving it back, so it will take a good two days to get back here. Not this weekend, but next weekend I'll be ready! Lol

Yep thats me... I normally roll with David, David, Rami and Son. So I'll have to talk them into heading out there that week.

Who all is planning on going to midnight madness this Saturday? Windex and I were talking about getting everyone that wanted to go to meet up before at a restaurant before heading to the track. Depending on who all is coming and from where, maybe we can decide on a central location or possibly in Donaldsonville. Let me know what you all think.

It's looking better for me this weekend if the weather is nice like they are saying i should be a go. I know bucketman will be going to LSU that day but will may be able to get him to meet us at the track. He may not make it in time to make any passes. O and here's a peek at his nismo.;)

Does anyone have a good place for pics ? There isn't many here but one that is ok ten mins from my house towards I-10. It's less than one min off of I-10 by troop C in between NO and Lafayette. It's a reception hall that's usually not busy here's some pics i took last christmas..

I'm think about 6pm. The LSU games should be wrapping up and give us time to grab a bite to eat before heading to the track for 8ish.

AWESOME just AWESOME... I just found out my cousins getting married saturday at 6pm in New Iberia... i think I'll skip the reception but that'll put me in belle rose around 9.

Okay, my plans are as follows. Watch LSU beat Alabama. Travel back home after game(no I don't take my car out there). Go to bathroom. Load up in my car and run out to Belle Rose. I hope to make it out there by 8 pm. If so I think I will run my car down the track, see how really bad I am! I don't drag race much. Go back to the pits drink some hot chocolate(might be some pepperment schnapps involved) Talk about how I could have done a lot better and will do better next time. Complain about how friggin cold it is . Then go home.
