Dyno Day
 

We are trying to gauge the interest in a dyno day. It would be at Corr Performance in Kenner. Thinking mid to late March, need at least five cars, max of 15 for dyno pulls. I think the price is 55 for three pulls. If you are interested, post up, if we get enough interest we'll set it up. Thanks guys!

Okay, looks lt like we are going to have enough to set a date. Will let you know. Firm info on pricing; $55 for three clean pulls, $5 for wideband O2, $5 for boost. If anybody has a date that they cannot make it let me know soon, and we will try to work around it!

Nashville ZATTACK / Vacation April 11 thru 15 - just in case this gets bumped to April.

Preferred weekends are March 2nd thru 4th, March 15th thru 18, March 30 thru April 1st... That last weekend I probably will have the HFC and CBE installed. That would be an awesome weekend to do a Dyno Pull on my Z...

Have you done a dyno on it yet? Could be interesting to see before and after results of your hfc and exhaust combo!

May be down depending on the date. Not really interested in putting my car on the rollers yet, but I'll come hang out. Our new dyno should be in in a few months.. *fingers crossed*

I am probably in as well as my coworker Lloyd (if you don't mind a turbocharged Miata coming).

I haven't dyno'd it yet. If Z IT GO puts his on the Dyno, which I think he will :tup:, then I'll have a baseline to go from (his is stock). If my FI exhaust is in and installed, then I'll have a good idea of how much HP I am up with all my mods compared to a Stock 370. Mods on mine would include K&N Typhoon short ram intakes, FI resonated HFC's and FI CBE. However, I think my Dyno runs will be "pessimistic" runs (lower than actual HP) because with the Dyno the car is static and no air is being "rammed" into the K&N air filters. Matter of fact, the air might be a little warm from the engine as well because of that same reason.

They should be using a blower of some type in front of the car to move air for the pulls.

I'm down to hangout, but I already got my baseline at a different shop in BR.

Didn't know if they did or not. That would make it closer to actual then.

Eh.. just saw this was going on in Kenner. I might not go.

Subscribing to see what dates are we going to see about getting this dyno day going. Could be in Baton Rouge or in the Kenner area. I guess all depends on where the majority of the members are coming from.

Lastly if you guys have any questions regarding the dyno let me know. I am here to help the community.

Appreciate the post Alberto. Looks like we will be doing the first one in Kenner, if we end up with enough we will split and do PA on another weekend. Still working on the dates, but thanks for keeping an eye out.

I do happen to have an uprev tuner license that needs to be put to use. :happydance:

Sorry, have not been on top of things recently. Working 7 days a week about 12 hours a day. I'm tired. I'll shoot an email to Mike and see if everything is a go. I'll also see if I can get him to chime in on this site.

Dude - was starting to get worried about you! Glad you're doing ok. Work is good, but 7/12's... Jeez! Hope you can make Dyno Day yourself...

I called and spoke to Alberto at CORR Performance. Apparently, this weekend is OFF for Dyno. Alberto's brother who is a co-owner, is out of the country and won't be back for a couple of weeks. I asked him about what weekend in April would be good, and he said that Saturday April 21st is a possibility. I'd like to make it clear here that the person (from another group of Z's which shall remain nameless) who was supposed to set this up and get back with Harold (Bucketman) and confirm it did not follow through, which left us all in the lurch. Hats off to Harold for at least trying - his efforts are appreciated neverthless :tiphat:. This is the risk one takes when taking the lead... :wtf2:

I'll post updates regarding the new April date on here as they happen. In the meantime, let's get a headcount from our group as to who can/wants to go April 21st. Just post on here and I'll update this Post with the names. :driving:

Paul, First thanks for jumping in, you at least know what I am dealing with! Looks like the 21st will be okay for me so put me down for a SOLID yes.
This is to everyone else, noone in particular, when doing a dyno day we have to have firm commitments, so if you are going to come and dyno your car, sign up. If you are uncertain we can't ask Corr to be there for maybe, we have to have a confirmed number to get the discount on the runs and for them to be open on a Sat. So be certain before you say yes! Thanks for everyones patience.

I just got an intake, magnaflow CBE and Diablo sport pocket tuner for my wife's G8-GT. If i can get the catback for her car and mine done before then. You could put us both down, i'll kept you guys up to date.
