good muffler shop in SoCal?
Hey there folks, i went ahead and ordered an exhaust system from Aaron at Beluga Racing and wanted to find a place to install it. i have no equipment whatsoever nor do i plan on doing it myself. I went around to a local muffler guy near me and he gave me a price of 120 dollars even after i told him how easy of an install it would be, im currently in the burbank area so any suggestion not too far would be appreciated Thank you!.

120 sounds around the ball park, I just came back from Fantasy Muffler in fullerton to get my exhaust retighten, the owner and worker were both very nice and they fixed my exhaust rattles free! Maybe you can try there. They are on the corner of Western and Auto Center Drive. Use google to find their info.
IIRC, I paid $100 for another shop to install my exhaust. Burbank is a bit out of the way so im sure some members in that area can help direct you to a good shop. |
$100-$120 for a bolt on exhaust to be put on?? Come on now...spend 45 mins under the car get some grease on those hands and save yourself some money. Spend $50 bucks on a set of ratchets and be able to say you put on your own exhaust. Just my opinion don't wanna sound like a d*** or anything if it seems like it.

Low Profile Floor Jack - 2 Ton, Rapid Pump® Jack 6 Ton Jack Stand Set x's 2 182-Piece Mechanics' Tool Set with 3-Drawer Chest: Convenient At Sears this in turn will also be a investment for diy oil changes, brake pad changes, trans and differential oil changes. I have A LOT more tools than that with a huge box but that is because I diy just about everything on my car except the dyno tune and the hfc install. Just a idea for ya. Good luck with the modding.... |
Do it yourself
Or I've been to Morse muffler off Burbank blvd next to the five and cosco They are good |
Im taking mine to Specialty Z (chatsworth) next month for
exhaust and CAI installation. I was gonna give a try myself but like you said, i dont want to **** it up lol. Rather leave it to the pros for proper fitment. Without proper equipment on lifting the car... fear of car falling down just comes into place. |
