Road conditions (from a bicycle forum):
We rode GMR/GRR Sunday to about mile 18 or 19 from the gate and it was clear and very quiet (one skateboarder, 4 or 5 motorcycles, lots of hunters and a game warden keeping an eye on them). Once we got past the GRR/GMR split the road was wet in places and there was a small amount of ice here and there, but nothing that posed much of a safety issue.

Remember this is from a cyclist perspective. Fitting my bike in the Z's hatch was a must!

Looks like they are calling for some pretty strong winds tomorrow and Sunday. Sorry guys but I wont be goin due to the weather. My Z hates the wind! lol

I ride up there a lot with my bike and I have never encountered wind of GMR, some light breezes on GRR and breezy in the village (and I live in Fontana near the pass). But still the forecast still calls for wind.
