370z Hollywood Meet 12/29/12
 

Hey guys my name is Mike, I am fairly new to this forum from another car forum I was apart of for many years. I am a professional photographer and a videographer. I'm trying to set up a 370z meet in Hollywood where I will be filming from start to finish with GoPro's and also be taking pictures which will be added later to the forum once I edit the video and the images. This will be a safe fun adventurous meet, if you are interested here are more details of how things will go down. We will be meeting in the Gelson's Market parking lot in Hollywood (Address: 5877 Franklin Ave Los Angeles, CA 90028) @10:00am. Will wait for everyone to show up by 11:00am the latest. Then will be heading up the mountain to the Hollywood sign where we will park, take some pictures and enjoy the view. After sometime will ride back through the mountains to get some nice footage all the way down to the In n Out. I am going to start a list below soon of everyone interested, please let me know for sure if you will make it.

Can't will be at the track.... u should come out one day to the track with us and do some shoots/video there too!

I hear ya, guess the 8th was the wrong day for most guys. I will be coming out to one of the track days with a couple friends hopefully very soon. However in the mean time, would like to set up this meet were we can all meet each other and have a good time. I will keep you guys posted in the next week for another meet.

hey you should postpone this til next weekend cuz there is 2 nissan meets today. one is nismolism in san dimas and the other is a z meet in hacienda heights

Ya, I want to see if we can get a good turn out. Let's shoot for the 29th which is a Saturday, lets see who's interested since some people might be leaving out of town for the holidays.

I understand members reaction, And I can only say the Op wasn't meaning any disrespect by excluding anyone.

But I'm guessing he's intent was for a group of 370 guys get together with a scenic photo shoot somewhere, And I can understand what he'd like.

We do need to not get easily offended either. :ugh2:

^I took it as a 370Z photoshoot. I can see why he wanted that, thats why I didn't react really. You guys should go, I wanna see the videos and pictures afterwards!

It's sooooooooo far away. Come do one in SD area. Much more scenic, I think.

I hear ya guys. I didn't mean any negative intent, hopefully we can all meet at one point. I did kindly mention this will be a 370z gathering and answered everyones questions. Just trying to get something started here in this community with you guys. Eventually will have more meetings and everyones ride will be in the videos/pictures. There are 4 on the list so far, if we don't have some more z's out, will have to postpone it after the 1st to make sure everyone who is interested to not miss out.

Count me out, Z back in the shop and won't be ready by Sat. morning :shakes head:

Hey guys, looks like its bad timing again and we didn't have enough people showing up. Also my Z needs to go to the shop over the weekend for a new fender/bumper for some repairs. I will give you guys another date after the weekend and hopefully we can have a good turn out in the beginning of the year. Have a good New Year guys.

That's quite unfortunate cause no one has a 307z.

Look out for the SFV thread we set up meets all the time...not so many now since it go colder out...but I will be setting a few up in the future hopefully getting a monthly meet going again.

So what's the update on the shoot? Can we get a sneak peek?
