Look at the DiY front bumper removal? Didn't you take mental notes? Lol

I'm not an expert on drilling, I can help you take off or put on the bumper, but I don't want to drill on your new bumper

Give Lou a ring?
What kind of spoiler did you get?

:iagree: I'd be pretty hesitant to drill my trunk, especially if I had never done such a thing before. It shouldn't be too expensive to take it to a pro who could probably knock it out in 30min.

kevin1985912 12-28-2010 05:27 PM

it's pretty hard to drill the holes on the hatch, there are 3 layers of metal you need to drill through, for my amuse spoiler there were only 4 bolts, but it's a pain in the ***, Let the pros do it.

DONT drill the trunk, unless you know what you are doing! Our hatches are aluminum, and if not treated properly prior and after drilling, the metal will oxidize alot faster than sheet metal IIRC.

SR style seibon carbon fiber spoiler. Like the stock one. My idiot friend thought it'd be a good idea to sit on spoiler since he's tall and it was the perfect height was his excuse. I walk outside to my car after work and he hands me 400 bucks and my spoiler and says sorry bro.:shakes head:

There are 11 holes under the stock spoiler, and it's a real pain in the *** to take the stock spoiler off... I traded my hatch with a non sport hatch, and it saved me a lot of work and money. But you probably can't do that, since your stock spoiler is broken.
