Vc 24250....

got a tix for forgetting my lights
coming from a driveway to a well lit street did not notice it was off until i got to a darker part of the street(not sure if it was more than 1000 ft per the law)

doesnt the z have auto lights whn its dark???
also if anyone is aware how much do these tix go for?

Hey Marco, don't you have an auto option on the light switch? if you have the nav there is an option on how sensitive you want it, Mine are set to sensitive, and is set to Auto so that don't happen. Can't tell you about how much the tkt is.

I thought every Z has auto lights>?

OMGWTFBBQ 09-16-2010 01:47 PM

That's only if you decide to leave it in the AUTO position. If you leave it in the OFF position then the lights won't come on until you flip the switch.

Jamaica 09-16-2010 02:37 PM

ya thats what I always do leave it on auto.

phelan 09-16-2010 04:37 PM

mine is always on off, i do it manually. hate it when the car auto turns on lights for really short tunnels or something.

never had an issue, when the sun starts going down i just switch it to on and off i go. habit, i guess. sucks about the one point though...you'd think you might be able to get off with a warning if you tried explaining it??

OMGWTFBBQ 09-16-2010 04:53 PM

Yeah the only thing that sucks about the auto feature is when you're driving through an underpass or something and the lights go on for 10 seconds and turn off. But then again, I'm pretty used to it so it doesn't bother me.
