Haha, tell me about it. It is terrible to keep postponing our runs, especially when everyone is so excited about going. We will set a date in stone, but will keep it more DL and keep it to PMs.

Ok, we can do it either the 8th which is a Saturday or the 9th which is a Sunday depending on which works best for the most people.

Sounds like a blast. I'm getting my new tires tomorrow but won't be able to do much of any extra-cirricular activities until a project I'm working on wraps up mid Oct. D'oh! Can't win for loosing.

Stay posted guys, this big rain storm we are having today and tomorrow might mean there will be considerable debris on the roads here. I will drive through some of the roads tomorrow to check them out, we are supposed to get two inches of rain though. :(

I'm going to go for a drive through Latigo, Piuma and Stunt to see how they all look on Friday since we have the day off from school. I'll let ya'll know what the conditions are like, I hope there is nothing major since I really want to do this badly.

no rain for a while will probably leave a lot of debris. this is a lot of rain we're getting in short order.

That's why I'm taking a rental Ford Fusion. ;)

Hey guys. I took a drive through a bunch of the roads including Piuma, Sheuren, Stunt and Mulholland (the snake) and the roads actually look very good. Or at least the same as other cruises we have done in the past, so I believe we are able to have a cruise tomorrow AM.

Now, it will be the usual time of 7am in the parking lot of the Malibu Country Mart (3900 Cross Creek Rd, Malibu CA). Please remember that we are LEAVING at 7am so try to get there before that time. I am also working on the route but we can change anything if need be that morning.


I took a Mini Cooper up the canyons and it was a surprisingly fun drive, even though the car's limits were pretty low. It was really nice to drive a car that I don't really care about since I wasn't always worrying about the car like I do with the Z haha. Anyways, some pictures to get everyone pumped for tomorrow:

September 2011 Malibu Cruise
 

We had a great run today through the Malibu Canyon roads, with little to no traffic and decent road conditions. While there was a fair amount of debris on the road, more than I saw when I did the scouting run, it was a lot of fun and we got some solid driving in.

Thanks to everyone who came, having a small group is nice. We will definitely be doing it again soon!


Anyways, onto pictures and videos. I didn't take as many as I usually do and my GoPro's memory got prematurely filled since I forgot to delete some old videos.
