How Soon Did You Put On Your Plates?
 

Hey guys! My plates will soon come in the mail. So I am wondering how soon after receiving the plates did you put on the plates. I like rolling around with the dealer tags. Makes ppl know that the Z is new! I'm thinking about not putting them on until a month later or so.

This is the dumbest poll I have ever encountered....

I put it on right away so my car won't feel like a newb on the street :ughdance:

I've had mine since last May and still Haven't put the plates on.
I'm getting my Vanity plates in a couple of weeks so till then they stay.

I finally broke down and bought the Stillen front bracket. Actually, it's in my hatch, I still don't like the thought of putting it on, but I've parked in a couple of sketchy neighborhoods recently and didn't want to the be new car on the block either. I'll probably put them on sometime this week, unless it pains me too much to see that front fascia ruined by a stupid CA driving law.

Why? This site is filled with lots of great stuff, so if you don't like this topic (poll), why are you checking this particular thread? It's not like you didn't know what the topic was about before you clicked through, no?

Never run a front plate. I got my car in Dec, just put the plate on last week lol.

A guy at work got his Z a month before mine and he's still sporting the paper dealer tag. My plates came in after about 4 weeks and I put them right on. Why not? I don't really care what people I don't know think.

I misread the poll and said I still roll with dealer paper plates. This is not true.

I put my rear license plate on immediately, as I was sick of people thinking the car is brand new. Honestly, it always looks new anyway since I hand wash it every weekend. I put my issued license plate on the day it arrived at the dealership (1 week), and a month later I had my vanity plate on.

I thought this topic would be about the front license plate, which I have along with a tow hook mount, in my car, but never installed.

Purchased August 2011, still no plates on.

I put mine on iimmediately...too many haters. People see new and wanna be stupid, ride you close, park close, kKey it up etc. Leaving paper tags on makes me nervous.
