This.
If you donate your car, it will usually be in a shop from a few days to a few weeks.

Why KB? Everything okay?

I know I personally can NEVER hand my keys off to another person/company but many forum members has done it here.

KillerBee370 02-27-2010 03:12 PM

That's right. No bad experience... Just tired of my car always being gone.

I see, I see, But I guess they already have the exhaust on this one but didnt pass the sound test for the tanabe japan.

So the Ypipe and touring exhaust is not being test fitted but is being used to do a sound test and dyno to get performance numbers.

Hopefully it wont stay there to long. They said it would be one day thing :tiphat:

Dj Cue and Killerbee thanks for the heads up.

Gotta keep a sharp lookout, I got a lot of carbon for free from a company in brooklyn.

Stealth_Z 03-01-2010 11:47 AM

Any one got in???

Stealth_Z 04-02-2010 12:08 PM

Anyone seen this? It's crazy... 16hp from their exhaust? I didn't knot it can give that much.

my friend's shop was contacted by Tanabe looking for a 370z and they asked me if I knew anyone with stock suspension and wheels. They need one for Suspension R&D. I guess whoever they had couldn't make it last minute so they need another car. Figured I'd post it on here. Call them at 310-783-0200 if you're interested.

xdeslitx 01-27-2011 10:25 PM

i'd do it but it's my DD and i'm too happy with my exhaust setup :)

Yea, will do :tiphat:

saber 01-28-2011 01:40 AM

huh, 1 day turn around for R&D doesn't sound very extensive...unless they're gonna pull an all nighter.

and if they do that, they'd never get within 10 feet of my car :rofl2:

I'm guessing it maybe in the final stages. I was told it would only require a day so will see what happens.

Waiz 01-28-2011 01:49 AM

Normally they fly several of the engineers out from Japan for a few days and they invite several different cars to come out for R&D and just hammer it out.

At least that's what they have done in the past.
