Shop for fixing rear diff

Hi, I just found out my rear diff is leaked and needed to be replaced. I bought the rear diff package from z1. But my local shops do not work on rear diff. Does any one have had experience with shop that worked on rear diff around SoCal?

I would recommend my shop in Orange but after he did mine and a bunch of 350z over the past few years he swore off doing another lol

Just an FYI you’re looking at 5-8 hours of labor so plan to leave the car for the day.

What is the name of the shop? And how much he charged to work on yours?

The shop that did mine is in Torrance, a little far from you as is Specialty Z.

SoCal Motorworks. You can find the shop on Yelp and I would call beforehand to see if he’s willing to do another one. When I picked up my car he mentioned how much of a pain it was and he might not take another one. He did a good job though. I never had another issue after we replaced the crappy oem bushings for poly ones. Had this done 2-3 years ago so can’t remember exactly what I paid but likely a ball park between 600-700 at their shop rate back then. Usually paid with cash for everything I do and would get a little discount. Ask for a quote if he’s going to do it.
