Looking for an affordable/reliable alignment shop in SoCal
 

Hey guys, I'm looking for a reliable alignment shop that could help me out. My z is lowered on swift springs. I paid 75$ at Nissan last year for a alignment and my front tires ended up wearing towards the inside and showing metal. Nissan then tells me I need to get new camber arms + suspension for $2k+.. Lol

The best alignment shop is West End but they're in Gardena, a ways from you.

What can I expect to pay with warranty? Many of the shops I called want $150 with zero warranty since my car is lowered. Im only on springs its barely a drop.

I have no idea. You'd have to call them. You'll also have to make an appointment, they have a waiting list. Read their yelp reviews.

It's likely that Nissan is right about the inability to get a larger adjustment range out of your OEM setup, which probably explains why you are still getting bad inside wear. I'm sure they tried to get it as close as possible to OEM specs, but without having adjustable front upper camber arms and rear toe arms, it won't be possible to correct that anymore than they have.

WestEnd is a great shop but is expensive. I would hold off on that till you find out whether or not you'll need parts.

In the meantime I would contact John at Corner 3 Motorsports, he'll be able to help you order any parts you need to improve the adjustability of your suspension. Also be ready to provide him with your current alignment numbers, the Nissan dealer should have provided you with a sheet with all that info when you left.

Swift doesn't lower the car that much and you should be able to get the toe within range. how many miles did you put on exactly? Still have the alignment specs from last time?

I've put on quite a bit, over 12k. I don't have the previous specs unfortunately.

probably just too much toe out on the front to cause the uneven wear on the inside....

what is the total miles on the front tires? 12k miles is quite a bit if the toe setting was off.

I would say the tires had about 20% tread left in the center where it should be wearing, when I got rid of them. I'd say I drove around ~12-13k miles in that time.

I installed spc camber arms up front (72130) and in the rear w/ toe bolts (72262) myself and took it to Monrovia Alignment & Wheels (626.303.8505) and David got me back to OEM spec and then some.

Fontana Nissan (NissanRaceShop) is close to you. Your various suspension bushings are 10 years old. Recommend you inspect them. If one or more are very worn or failed, you may not be able to hold spec.
