Ferman Nissan of Tampa Collision Center
WARNING!
I thought taking my car to a Nissan body shop would mean that I have people working on my car that actually know and care about the Z. Ferman Nissan is the absolute opposite. Upon initial receipt of my car I had a feeling something wasn't right after the FairladyZ emblem was restuck on after I was told it wouldn't be. Especially since my insurance paid them $190 for a FairladyZ emblem I never received! The car goes back in tomorrow! I got home and not only was the bumper not on correctly the side skirt wasn't even close to being flush, it has made me sick to think someone at a Nissan dealership would treat her this way... |
Dang bro if it where me and I was dealing with insurance this car would not be at the same shop. That’s it in my book (strike 3)! I would have taken it to another shop and would have let them repair what was not installed correctly. Just reading this pisses me off.

Good luck, my car is still in the bodyshop too

I'm waiting on a return call from INsurance about the car and the body shop...

Sorry to hear about your pain. Thanks for sharing about Ferman won't be heading that way....
:shakes head: |
I normally don't give up on a dealer after one encounter but in this case I completely agree that this dealer blows.
I live less than ten minutes from them and have been there several times. The last time I brought in a working car and had to have it towed out of there after they couldn't figure out how to bleed the clutch. They had it for three days and couldn't bleed the clutch correctly. I now enjoy taking the drive out to Autoway Nissan of Brandon for service. They have been excellent. I like rewarding good dealers with my dollars. Even if they're a little further away. |
Any Dealer that begins with the name Ferman should make you turn around. The group of owners are complete rip off artists and you can tell by the way the dealers do business. I know all dealers are similar but they are the worst in our area.

Yes I should have known better after the run around they gave me when I tried to purchase a Z through them, they told me I wouldn't be able to get the car I wanted and kept trying to sell me a color Z I didn't want...
I still have not heard back from insuranec so I will call them monday |
Sorry to hear OP. I lived in Tampa a while back and I made the mistake of taking my '06 Nismo Frontier to Ferman Nissan for some OEM door moldings. Simple job, right? Well, after those jokers improperly aligned the moldings, it took almost a month to get reimbursed. I eventually got a full refund and had one of the best body shops install the parts for just a little more but half the time.

I work in a body shop and I'm glad that I fix my own repairs.
Once I smashed my truck and the bill was 5k when the insurance adjuster came out to inspect my truck he was saying well we will use aftermarket headlamps and I told him the customer won't like that he said they wouldn't know I said yes they will b/c I'm the owner of the truck, and the one who was fixing it,the look on his face was priceless.:icon17: |
