That's the plan. Right now, we're trying to plan our next meeting. From the information that I've gathered so far, it looks like it's most like going to be June 12th in the mountains.

I'm going to be sending out information soon, so we can decide at what time we want to get together. I know some of you work on Saturdays. My hope is that most of us will be flexible enough with the time, so everyone can attend.

Sounds good, will be down for that.

If we decide to go into the mountains, we all could meet at my house or at a McDonalds or Starbucks in Canton.

Next ATL Z Meet -- June 12th -- Mountains Near Canton, GA

What's up guys? According to the votes that I've received from everyone the majority voted for June 12th, at the Mountains near Canton, GA.

Now it's time to decide what time you prefer. If you would like to attend on June 12th it is important that you cast a vote, so the group can try to accommodate your schedule. Some of the guys who were with us last Saturday are working that day, so I asked that you consider them in your time selection. My guess is that they will be more likely to make it if we have meet in the early evening. I think it would be nice to have everyone who was at the last meet and more. If you have a buddy with a 370Z, please invite them or PM me their contact and I could invite them as well.

Please select from the following times:
  1. 10:00am
  2. 12noon
  3. 2:00pm
  4. 5:00pm
  5. 6:00pm
P.S. For some of us it's a 2 hour drive to the mountains near Canton, so I hope that we will able to get together for more than an hour or two. Since the ride there and back is going to be 4 hours. This applies to me, Jeff, and Mike. I don't want to sound selfish but I think it's important to know. I hope I didn't forget anyone else from the eastside.

I'm in.

I'll go w/ 2pm. I've mapped out a route going up 5 north of canton, east on 53, north on 183 to 136 going back west, down through Jasper back on 53 west over to 5 and go back south to Canton. I'm sure there may be other routes but that looks to be a nice cruise. Check it out on Google Maps. Its saying 81 miles.

I'm not familiar with the area, so I'm just going to follow the group. I would speak to John about a route because he lives in Canton. He would know the best route. I will get the information from him and add it to the information for the meet.

JvKintheUSA 05-26-2010 12:37 PM

I vote for 10am since the roads will be less crowded and there is a lesser chance of rain in the morning (I'm no weatherman, but T-storms usualy pop-up in the PM), but I understand that there are some that need to travel from afar, so later will work as well for me.

If we have about the same number of cars as we did last weekend (7), we could meet at my house - there is plenty of street parking. If we end up with double that number, it probably would be better to meet at a parking lot (although it would be cool to see 10+ Zs driving through the neighborhood).

The spot to take pics I was referring to in an earlier post is north of Jasper on RT 136, east of Wheeler cabin Rd. For those who are interested, we can then go further east onto RT 52 to Dahlonega, then RT 60 north where the roads get REALLY twisty and steep.

xiven 05-26-2010 12:53 PM

60 is a monster

xiven 05-26-2010 01:13 PM

Yeah.....That's nice right there. It looks like a lot of fun.

Viera 05-26-2010 01:42 PM

For me, the earlier it is, the better. ;) But, since the world isn't centered around me, I'm down for any time throughout the day.

On a side note, who is down for next week's Varsity meet?! I want to caravan down there!
