I'll be there!

Here is another event for those of you who wish to get your Motorsports Fix, but do not want to go all out for the $195.00 Track Day.

The Atlanta Region SCCA will be hosting a SOLO Event in the front main parking lots (just outside of the Z Nationals Track Event). The event is open to all interested participants, including our 2011 Z Nationals participants.

A very economical way to have fun with your car...safely. Registration is around $50 to enter and participate in the event. Spectating is 100% free. This includes the $30 registration fee, $3 Motorsportsreg.com processing fee and the $10.00 single day SCCA Club Membership.

You can save the $10 Single Day membership if you already have a current SCCA Membership.

I realise it took a little longer than expected to announce the NEW 2011 Z Nationals event T-Shirt, but I think that the wait is well worth it. We now have the final design done and the T-Shirts will be here next Thursday.

The 2011 Z Nationals T-Shirt features a shiloutte of Atlanta Motor Speedway Track Map, which will be used for Sunday's Z Natioanls Track Day.

Shanna (also the bosses wife and one of the many voices you will hear when you call our shop) will also be on track Sunday driving her Momentum Single Turbo'ed Infiniti G35. Keep an eye out for her both on track....and in your review mirrors (if you are driving).

Yes sir! You guys can credit Mr. HKYStormFront (Patrick) for the great pics above along with Jon Ruby and Kyle Barnett. We had a photography crew of 3 photographers, 1 filmographer and loads of gear setup to make this photoshoot happen. It was a great time for all of us....and you see the results.

Also it this girl going to be here (See Attached)? I would not mind get a few shot of here next to my Z. No offence to the other girls, but she just has the look I like.

Unfortunately not. She is a local West Ga girl, but she has actually moved to the west coast pursuing her career in modeling. At one point in time she was filiming for a national TV show, but I never heard anything more about it.

Agreed though...I will miss seeing her this year.

Just a friendly reminder to those of you coming into town for the Z Nationals event (for Friday or Saturday), be sure to WATCH YOUR SPEED! The Georgia State Patrol has a dispatch office right off Exit 24 (the exit from I-20 to Z1 Motorsports). They have steppd up patrols and have been tag-teaming along the tree lines nearly every night.

Keep your speed to a.....reasonable level. We do not want folks getting any additional "Driver's Appreciation" Awards from the locl PD.

Also, we have some of our first arriving Z National's attendees rolling into town this afternoon. We hope everyone has a saf trip to the event and look forward to seeing everyone!
