DETAILING

EVERYTHING THAT FOLLOWS IS for AT THE EVENT. If you want detailing done the day before etc, contact the people directly!

Okay guys. There are 2 people/companies detailing at this event for us:

Pat@ApexAuto
Raybuck (Alex with Artistic Tint & Shine)

Apex Auto is offering:

20$ wash and wax (exterior)
60$ Clay, Polish and Wax (exterior)

Raybuck is offering:

60$ Clay, Polish and Wax (exterior)
10$ interior detail w/o leather
15$ interior detail w/ leather.

You do not have to get the interior and exterior from same person!

Claying/polishing/waxing does take time. So there is a limited amount of cars that can be done realistically.

Raybuck 5 people (maybe more depending on what 1-5 want)

Pat@ApexAuto 10 people (maybe more depending on demand and packages)

So, post up what package you want and if you prefer a detailer. If you don't have a preference we'll just split up the people as spots are available.

Trying to make this a non competitive thing! just fyi. This should be a relaxing event for everyone and not a marketing/competitive frenzy.

Someone needs to explain the benefits to me for this replacement bellypan.
(that's what it's called)
The current bellypan is thick plastic with a crease allowing you to partially unscrew it and pull open securing it with a bungee cord to drain the oil and access the filter. If you install this piece you will now have to remove the entire bellypan each time you perform your oil change. You adding weight and I'll bet that there isn't that much of a difference in protection or wind deflection.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong! Thanks :driving:

There is a door for oil changes! Also vents are added to help vent hot engine air

Nismo221 03-09-2011 07:48 PM

I wonder why it wont fit the Nismo? this just means I'm going to have to design my own.

Nismo221 03-09-2011 07:49 PM

Oh and do we know what % tint the tinter is bringing?

It does look like it'll add some weight, but with vents and a hatch for quick oil changes, it doesn't look too bad. Would I get one? Probably not.. but it's a pretty nifty gadget if I do say so myself

Some of the question have been answered. But it helps with cooling and not having to remove the the undershroud everytime for oil changes via the trap door. It's still pretty light from what I hear. But no big deal. Especially after I've already shaved weight from my wheels, test pipes, exhaust, and spare tire.

daisuke149 03-09-2011 08:18 PM

id get it and powdercoat it white....

looks cool to me :-D
