The paint really does look better.

Tails don't look bad either. I think I want to go for the soild black on my ride.

altho maybe 30% of the people on that list arent on this forum!

Yea that would be a waste.
I am sticking with a black and red theme to match the nismo stuff. Found some spring hose clamps that come in red. Might try those with the red silicone hoses from Z1. Eventually red brake powdercoat from Mike.

Also you shoud have a ton of great ideas on what yuo can/want to do since you will pretty much see alot of setup's

Yeah I have alot of ideas rolling around in my head I'd like to share with people. Then see what people think or what everyone else is doing. May see something you like or have no thought of yet.

I'm defiantly ready now. I finally finished up my test pipes, CBE, Gen3 intakes, and oil cooler today. Man, my setup sounds sweet. But defiantly not for everyone. Good throaty sound (especially on cold start up). There is plenty of rasp, and some gas fume smells. I LOVE IT! I really feel as I'm in a race car. Couldn't be happier at the moment. Stay tune I'll post everything up later this week. I'm pooped at the moment.

I tell you guys. Doing the oil cooler makes you paranoid. Worried about leaks due to there so many connection points. But it worked flawlessly. Took an extra quart and a half. I have the 34 row. With temps at 56 today and normal crusing on back roads it barely hit 170. Good thing the hotter temps are coming. I'll hold out for now on the block off plate. But will be needed eventually.

I dont even rely on the weather channel for this weeks weather forecast, sure in HELL not relying on them from 2 weekends in advance lol :shakes head:

For sure. The weatherman can be right 50% of the time and keep his job. Wish I could...
The NOAA trends are sort of generalizations though. Kind of interesting.

Im having my gen 3 intakes, z1 test pipes or HFCs, and greddys Ti-C exhaust installed the day of the event. I cant wait!

Okay guys. There are 2 people/companies detailing at this event for us:

Apex Auto is offering:

20$ wash and wax (exterior)
60$ Clay, Polish and Wax (exterior)

You do not have to get the interior and exterior from same person!

Claying/polishing/waxing does take time. So there is a limited amount of cars that can be done realistically.

So, post up what package you want and if you prefer a detailer. If you don't have a preference we'll just split up the people as spots are available.

Trying to make this a non competitive thing! just fyi. This should be a relaxing event for everyone and not a marketing/competitive frenzy.

i haven't been up there since 2006... Last time I went, My 350z, a g35, 996tt, ferrari 355 sypdier, 700 hp supra, z06, lotus...... it was fun and great..... UNTIL a FERRARO with a Cadillac motor decided to come out of nowhere and ATTEMPT to tackle the ferrari down on the turns.... the conclusion, the Ferrio ends up losing it on the high points of the mountain, we all slam our brakes and get side ways almost off the cliff and then BAM.... the Ferraro flies off the cliff. The guy crawls out, we call 911 and leave after we hear cops. The car blew up moments later, as we saw it on a rest area on the top of the mountain...

BUT with that said....i am so freaking down for another mountain run lmao and im serious
