Don't you come in here with logic!

Yeah, it's fine. Those quotes aren't confidential so they can be shared wherever they want. And it's not like Forged can hide what it charges its clients. If people want to discuss it then people can discuss it and its up to Forged to defend their pricing.

I just think when we do we should be courteous and act like adults, instead of calling people who disagree with you douches, dumbasses, or idiots like '10Anomoly is doing. That's just a good way to get banned and doesn't belong here.

I don't think any less of someone just because I don't agree with them. I am not going to call someone an idiot just because they happen to disagree with my opinion. That's really uncalled for.

i'll stick with my job thanks for the offer though. :tiphat: but i'm sure your competitors are quite successful if your total lack of business sense is any indication of what your company is like.

Respectfully, I'd suggest everyone here to focus on the "issue", not the "people". The issue here is a high quote, which I'm not disagreeing. There may be many reasons that lead to this "issue", such as overhead, labor, availability, etc. But I kindly suggest separating the individual opinions from defamation of character. It's a thin line, but just a personal suggestion that would add value to your posts.

I cannot disagree that this may be a high quote, but I don't live in that area so I cannot say whether this is the norm or not. But from a "people" and "character" perspective... I have never ever met Sharif in person. I have never had him spend 1 minute of labor on my vehicles. I have purchased some parts from him here and there, but nothing big. This is due to me being on the West Coast and we have ample suppliers and distributors here. However, I like to install things myself. I would call Sharif at odd hours of the day, and not once has he turned me down when I needed assistance. He stays on the phone with me and calls back from time to time to make sure everything's ok. I cannot even count how many times I have called his cell phone for assistance, yet he treats me the same today as he did 3 years ago, without one ounce of annoyance.

I'm sure there are many sides to a story, but chalk that up as just my small humble experience with his "character".

Please continue.

You know that on this forum there is a fine line between freely stating your opinion and directing attacking someone... and you're flirting with it.
I'd highly reccomend pausing for a minute, and rethink your next few posts...
Yeah I need to reconsider my thoughts thanks to your post. I was so close to trouble but you saved me from the devastation of forum punishment, the worst thing in life since mild hangnails.

I only buy on sale or at reasonable prices like any other informed human being. It is unethical to overcharge to make excessive profits M4A1. But then again, you bought a Ford so I can't seem to reason with someone who defies logic, LOL. I know where you and Forged can put those gumballs, PM me for thoughts.
