Nissan Performance Shops in Atlanta?

All I've found so far is "forged performance" in Marietta but they seem kinda pricey, any ones knows of other performance shops?

What seemed pricey....have you visited our facility yet? Our parts prices are pretty darn competitive, and we will price match. Unfortunately we sometimes have to put a minimum advertised price on our website to keep our vendors happen....so always call for best prices. We know the 370Z inside and out as well, having done forced induction and full race car builds on them in the past year or so. Give us a shout! :tiphat:

In all competitive fairness... I invite you visit both of our shops. Spend a few Saturaday's and come out to the shops and check each of us out.

After that, speak with some other Atlanta 370z owners and get their opinions.

I encourage you to post up your review's of both shops after your visits. List pro's & con's so other customers will have an unbiased opinion for future reference.

We are here Monday thru Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

On a side note, if you do not mind me asking, what part of Atlanta are you in?

Must say that I've heard some bad things about Forged and nothing but good things about Z1. However I have no personal experience with Forged so that's just hearsay. I have dealt with Z1 though and have nothing but good experiences!! Great guys and they put on great events which strengthen the community!

That being said, Forged seems to have some very baller projects and I've never seen anything like that at Z1. FWIW..

Just my two cents.

havnt been to forged, but been to z1 alot. The guys at z1 are great guys, the people who work on it take care of your stuff. Fun guys too, and honestly their prices are from what ive seen better than almost any other place (not just in GA)

Its def worth a trip there to check em out.

I've only been to Forged once and they were closed. So, I cannot really speak on their price and service.

As for Z1 it's a great place to take your car. All of the guys there are passionate about what they. Take the time to assist you with what you want and inform you about what is best for your car. They allow you to be in the shop and see the work that they're doing in your car, which to me is important anyway. As far as pricing, they have the best prices of any place that I've been.

As John stated earlier, to just take the words of the people on this forum. Go to the different shops and evaluate them for yourself. At the end of your evaluation go with whomever you trust.

Good luck!

I called you guys for an estimate on stud replacement spacers install and it was 4 times the price I got from my shop guy. I know you guys are the experts on this but its only spacers, I would do it myself it I had the tools and patience.

I'm in Dunwoody area, just a few exits north of midtown on 400.
I saw your shop like 2 years ago while driving around that area.
I will definetely check you guys out soon.

For some reason I am having flashbacks of the SAT test with an equation like that.

Go with Z1!!! best pricing and Customer Service compared to the competition in Atlanta!

jadeb0x 11-24-2010 01:57 PM

i've been to both Z1 and Forged... both great shops with very knowledgeable staff. however, all of my work has been with Forged. to me, both shops have similar prices for parts and install. i suggest just going in person to both shops, they're ran a little differently, so it's a matter of what suits you.

as for spacers, just do them yourself! all you would need is a torque wrench. either shop could order them for you i'm sure, i have project kics spacers on my 370z. ... or are you talking about actual stud extension replacements?

i'm gonna go out on a limb here, but for some reason... most 370Z owners that do get their work done at Forged, don't regularly post up on forums... not sure why that is.
