I think we just have active forum members. It's rare to see a 370 driving home from work. I still honk at the 350s though haha

Anyone around Shaw AFB/Sumter area? I'm in Belgium right now with my PW 370Z but will be moving there early next year. Any recommendations to Uprev tuners, tracks, etc in the state/area?

864Zbeast 04-05-2012 07:03 AM

Saw a PW nismo in Seneca. I've only seen about 5 370z around Walhalla, Seneca, Clemson area other than mine. Really rare but thats what I love about it.

Well there's AV Tuning and Development here in Charleston. I will be working with them to finish up my tune in the next couple of weeks. Next to that you have CIN motorsports in Charlotte and Z1 in ATL. All respected shops from what I have read.

:iagree: I might see 1 or 2 Zs a week. They are definitely rare which is nice. You see a mustand or camaro every time you turn around.

RedNismoZ 04-05-2012 09:02 AM

0.0 i see one 370 every month or so, but CIN is WIN they say.

I checked out that Nismo the other day! Its silver actually but looks REALLY good... I usually cruise through Nissan after hitting Publix up for groceries... Its a short cut to avoid the light and i get to see the Z... So its not really a "short" cut as i probably waste 15 minutes staring at the Nismo Z~ haha

Theres my old Daytona Blue Z vs. The new 370Z i will be getting.

Im liking those wheels a lot on that Mag Black Z below, I will be rocking a Top Secret Carbon lip as well as blacked out headlights so it should look a little meaner but the wheel offset/color and drop are similar to what i will be going for :)

Some older pics... With older Volk LE37s (not as aggressive of an offset)

Sorry for the picture whoring out of my old Z figured what better time to bring back some old memories with people who actually appreciate Z's!

It's all good. Your Z looked sick!

RedNismoZ 04-05-2012 11:56 AM

Nice z, getting eibach springs pretty soon, kinda debating though. Drive normally at night and often see little critters roaming the roadways.

RedNismoZ 04-05-2012 11:57 AM

I like those wheels or the Forgestars. I'm not real crazy about the whale tale wing though.

Just ordered my avant garde m310 powdercoated gloss black. Can't wait to get them. I've had avant garde on a previous bimmer and loved them.

IMWEZL 04-06-2012 10:05 AM

Man I must be the only guy that loves the stock sport wheels? On similar note I plan on getting some VMR's for my MK5 GTI along with an H&R suspension.

Next mods for the Z will probably be Koni Yellows to be more competitive in my C-Stock class in Auto-X. I'm just hoping the ride doesn't get harsher.

Oh yeah, I threw in the K&N drop ins and no change was felt or expected. Too bad I can't go with Stillen Gen 3s.

I'm having the hardest time figuring out what style to go with on my z. i like the swift springs but i have been 1told that h&r offer better products. as far as the springs will it void the factory warranty and does it make the car ride rougher. its also hard finding rims that go good with the gunmetal color, I'm considering black but still haven't came to a decision

stephen 04-10-2012 07:48 AM

Ok wednesday april 11th 630-700 wildwings north charleston park behind see you all there!!!

I have silver z and have my gloss black avant garde wheels on order. As far as springs, I wanted h&r at the beginning and changed to swifts because I don't want to have to buy camber kits. I would still go with h&r if I didnt need camber kits. A guy with my wheels I have on order has swifts and no camber kits.

I've done a lot of research on this. Would it be best to wait and save for camber kit? (front or rear?) and what's best SC...? H&R or swifts?

ClemsonWill 04-10-2012 08:43 AM

i'm probably a no go for Wed. We'll just have to see how it goes tomorrow.

ClemsonWill 04-10-2012 08:51 AM

I have assisted with a number of different brands of spring installs. Seems like the guys with sprint springs have had some issues with squeeking and low speed (maybe you guys with them can chime in). It's supposed to be a better auto-x or track spring though. I have H&Rs and my only complaint is that I feel they are a bit bouncy on the interstate with the stock strut. I think they would be much better with some Koni Yellows. I haven't heard from the guy with Eibachs. His must have worked out pretty good but they don't drop the car as much.
