Hopefully I can do it soon. I have my son all summer long but he will be going to his mothers everyother weekend in Charleston. We are suppose to meet in Columbia but maybe I can just bring him all the way down and spend a weekend down there. The only other mod I know to do after the intake is a CBE. I really want to here yours in person before I do that. How does it sound with the F.I. full exhaust set up? (louder, rasp, etc) |
Oh yea forgot. Oil cooler is next on the list. Thinking of z1's medium size with a thermostat sandwich plate.

I have a rattle in my drivers side can when the car is cold. I’m hoping I just have loose bolt. It too has only started since the LTH install. I should get a chance to get it in the air on Wednesday to trouble shoot. Quote:
That and brake upgrades are going to be my next mods. Why the Z1 oil cooler? I have not started researching them yet. |

Drivers side  :shakes head: What brakes do you have? I think im gonna try some stainless steel brake lines and some good aftermarket pads before I go all out with a new setup. The stock rubber lines flex under hard braking and aftermarket pads will grab harder. From the looks of it the disk are by far big enough. At least for what I do. Im gonna go with Z1 cooler because of there price, good service, and they really helped me out with my 02's (pricing) when I installed my headers. BTW how did you salvage yours?????? |
sounds like a bad gasket possibly will...?
rooskey, Z1's got a great set of SS lines, my girlfriend has them on her 350 (one of my xmas gifts to her last year lol). as for pads, talk to them about carbotech's! they make a variety of pads for various conditions so be sure to ask them what they recommend for your use. carbotech is a local company from NC, support them! |

drove by the restaurant yesterday on the way home matthew, let me know when you are going to be working one weekend coming up and i'll make the trip over!

Thanks for the input stormfront. With the size of the factory brakes compared to the weight of these cars I would asume with minor upgrades that they would stop great. More than what I would need. I would love to track my car someday soon but there is not anything close. Unless you know of something. I would prefer a track rather than a parking lot with cones. (not that there is anything wrong with clemson autox) just my preference.
