Yeah, I saw the t-shirt shenanigans

Did you see Brian stoned-cold passed out in the grass? I mean...really

HKYStormFront 05-18-2015 06:02 PM

Yes......... and I'm not surprised. Last year they made it back to the cabin. Kevin was hurling from about midnight to 4am, Brian and Meredeth were in the kitchen cooking an entire pound of bacon because they were hungry. After that, passing out safely on the grass is nothing

HKYStormFront 05-19-2015 09:06 PM

Soooooo.......... They are moving me over to Nissan Of Greer On Thursday......... but let's just say it will be a "limited engagement" as something else has come along :stirthepot:

Oh my. Seems like Zdayz was a crazy weekend. I wish that I could be young and single with no children for a weekend or two, lol!

Rooskey 05-21-2015 09:07 PM

:tiphat: Life will settle down for me in a couple weeks. After that, we'll get another big meet together so we can all go grab some dinner sometime, maybe do some karting as well :driving:

Bad Oil Change

I hate to be a jerk but, If you can't find the oil drain plug...like on the first freaking try...I'm not sure that you need to be changing your own oil.:icon14:

So I changed our Jukes oil yesterday and laughed out loud thinking of this post. The oil pan and drain bolt could not have been more obvious. Unfortunately the orientation of the filter makes it impossible to not make a mess though.

That's a lot of cars these days^

Agreed on the filter orientation. Mini Rant: You CANNOT tell me that at the 2015 level of Japanese engineering it's impossible to make the filter safe and yet 80-100% vertical. Toyota/Subaru seemed to manage it just fine in the early 2000's. Which leaves only one viable conclusion, it's done on purpose to discourage self service.

I liked my GTI's oil filter - it was a cartridge filter (which are normally messy as ****) but there was a drain plug on the cap to drain everything before removing the cap itself. Great design, but you needed a 32mm socket to take the filter cap off - or you could crack it like it trying to use an adjustable wrench :ugh2:

HKYStormFront 05-26-2015 09:04 PM

I like cartridge filters, myself.
