I've spotted a Mont Blue 370z couple of days ago... looked to have plasti dipped front fangs and rear valance with a nismo exhaust. This was in charleston in West Ashley... not a lot of charleston guys post up in here. I guess there isn't anything going on this weekend.

I recently moved from Florence to Charleston. There is a descent group of car guys there. If you head to Firestone for anything, deal with a tech named Marc.. good guy and good friend of mine. He is the only person I would let work on my S2000. |
Hey Mulder... do know of any local Z groups that meet up regularly in Charleston? Be cool if we can organize one...
|
Thanks man! I will hit him up for sure
The first three things I want to get are: Motordyne exhausts, rims, matte black (or another color) vinyl wrapping. After that I will turn to performance mods... Actually, do you (or anyone else around here) know of any good places that do vehicle vinyl wrapping? I've been looking around for a while and haven't been able to find any... not even in the Charlotte area.. |
There's a really good group of guys in charlotte that do wrapping. They are members if Carolina z club and wrapped Brian kleeman's Pirelli world challenge car this year. They do really good work.

Hey Stormfront I got a photography question for you. I have some photos saved on my computer of some of my cars that I owned in the past. I would like to email them to someone and have them enlarged and printed so that I could hang them in my garage. I am doing my garage in old signs/man cave stuff, etc. I do recall back in the day that the larger you made the original image the worse it looked. Is this still the case? I would like poster sized photo's to hang. THanks bud..

Basically, it depends on the resolution the photo was originally taken in and what device is being used to print it. A 1 megapixel photo is about 1200x900 pixels, depending on the camera's ratio, so if you stretch that to a poster its going to look terrible...but it's all relative. Assuming the photos were taken with 10-40 megapixel modern camera you should have no issues making them poster sized without too much filler if any. If your photo's raw size is very small then you'd need to add pixels, which there is software to do, although IMO that isn't really ideal. |
Rooskey, Brandon covered most of it but yeah, basically you just cannot exceed the size of the photo compared to what pixels are there to work with. Locally I use Spartan Photo to print. They can probably answer your questions better.
