I feel so sorry for him and his family. He is such a good athelete and I dont care if he plays for carolina, clemson, lsu, or the new england patriots. From the video it appears that he knew it as soon as he went down. It doesnt help that his family lives 10 minutes down the street either. I suppose the good Lord has other plans for his life instead of football..

That was a dirty play, can't say if it was intent or not, but still dirty.

Please explain further in detail. Enquiring minds want to know!

My best friend's father passed away so I had to make a quick trip up to West Virginia and I couldn't think of a better way to spend 14 hours in the car.

Yeah, it was definitely hard to watch. When I first saw it I thought his leg was broken in multiple places. I have tons for respect for him as a player and a person. Latest news sounds like he will definitely be back on the field so I'm happy for that. I just hope he decides to go pro. I'm not looking forward to seeing him back in the USC backfield.

I definitely don't think it was intentional. Just an unfortunate casualty of football. Says so much when all the Ten players came out on the field to show respect.

Anyone from the upstate going to the Maryland game?

Charleston, WV. Right up interstate 77. It's where I grew up. No comments needed. All the stories about WV people, incest, and out houses are true! lol

Yea I got an old friend from the Princeton/Beckley area. I dont care what people say that state has the best landscape, and some of the nicest people of any place I have ever been. I personally like all the tunnels and curves you have to go through on the way. Great roads for the Z for sure.

Now since I have been there a time or two (and for a funneral myself) here's my joke

How do you circumsize a person from WV?..............
You kick his sister in the jaw, lol!!!!

Latest words is that this kid is not going to the pro's yet?. According to the press he wants to come back and play agian. I think that is very important to college athelet's. The game is not always going to be there, so take your FREE education for what its worth. Willis Mcgahee on the other hand said "Im not that bad"

Yeah, it's definitely a pretty place to drive through. I just don't recommend staying too long.

Yeah, it's probably his best option to come back and finish up his education. It will all depend on his draft projections though. If he can get healthy by combines in 2014 then he may go pro. It's so far off it is hard to tell.

Somebody needs to kick Spurrier in the nuts though. He's such a d-bag. Using Lattimore's situation to take jabs at Dabo. He doesn't care about the players at all. All he cares about is winning.

Anyone going to the Clemson vs Maryland game in a couple of weeks?

Volk Z 10-31-2012 03:21 PM

Anyone in the Lexington/Columbia area down for a meet/cruise this weekend?

I am.

ClemsonWill 10-31-2012 07:45 PM

You all could cruise down to Charleston on Sunday. We have a private group playing paintball on Sunday. Anyone can join. I think it's like $35 which includes everything.
