I would imagine my car will be totaled as well. Unfortunate because it sure runs well. I will probably try to work out a deal with State Farm to buy it back with the salvage title.

If I can it will really make a great "bar car". (And I should be able to park in the front row at Walmart with it now)

Anyone on here want to swap trunks with my 2017 white Nismo? I want a sport spoiler in white in great condition if you have one?

Trade plus cash.

I plan to do a fly 1 carbon wing so I need the sport holes :)

Supercharging

I'll be installing the Stillen SC kit, as well as the CJM S1-SE fuel system, ID1000 fuel injectors, Topgunz A2A kit, and TBatt's extra idler pulley kit starting probably around May 8th-ish, in the afternoons, after work, when my wife is out of school and I can use the other car while mine is in pieces. If you've got some extra insight to any of the above, want to provide some moral support or just want to watch and heckle haha, shoot me a message and feel free to stop by! I'll supply a beer or two and some snack food.

-Brett

EDIT: I'll also have some of the mods in my signature for sale (Z1 ported upper plenum, K&N intakes) as well as the water portions of the Stillen kit that I will be deleting if anyone local is interested before I post them in the for sale section officially with prices and such as soon as they are off the car.

I appreciate that!

I've started my build thread here (Link: http://www.the370z.com/forced-induct...ld-thread.html) for those that would like to follow along!

Good luck with your installation...

Are there any really meticulous shops in sc?

Kzonts 04-28-2017 03:25 AM

Someone in this thread mentioned Metro Autoworks. I recently went to SOHO Motorsports and they are great. It was a 2 hour drive but well worth it.

Thanks Kzonts, I have been to both shops. Metro is not bad but for my 3500 Titanium exhaust it would freak me out there. SOHO did my original Amuse exhaust and it was decent but I hate handing my keys to people and not seeing my car and 7k worth of exhausts, I requested to put the other exhaust back in my car and wanted to see my car and they wouldn't let me until the end and put the other exhaust back in. They do provide a full customer experience but I like when I can be there and even jump in... lol

I think a buddy and I will just install at his house so its done right

Volk Z 04-28-2017 12:34 PM

SOHO wanted 550 for coilover install. haha
I didn't even ask him to install he was just pricing for me... I was like ummm no I do my install. For 500 dollars I would install 2 peoples coilovers and do 100x more meticulous of a job for all corners being perfectly even etc.

ClemsonWill 04-28-2017 12:44 PM

Anyone here have an interest in a stock exhaust or nearly new stock springs? I have had this stuff laying around for years and just need to get rid of it. I'm outside of Charleston. PM me if you are interested. I rarely check the forum

Well I had to use them to upgrade my clutch and CSC. That's not something I want to do in my garage...

Yes, the exhaust you can handle for sure. I did my own as well.

Volk Z 04-30-2017 11:43 AM

I will have a flawless Amuse titanium exhaust for sale for 1k under the retail for the NIsmo version. (can fit regular Z the tips just extend out 1.5 inches vs. the regular version.)

"Decent" is such a strong word haha. If you join the Charleston Car Meets page on Facebook, you can see all the meets that happen around here. Cars and Coffee is about the only one that I attend when I can. I went to the rice bowl (Saturday nights at/near Texas Roadhouse on Rivers Ave) when I was younger, but now they seem to always want to head out to this place called Mexico :driving:. I've been out to the rice bowl once since I've been back here and once I fix my injector issue, I will be attending Cars and Coffee in Mt. P hopefully regularly. Carolina Z Club and Palmetto Z Club Facebook pages are also good.

Anyone here added an oil spacer? I may need help installing one and would gladly pay for some help.
Pm me if you can and have done one before.

Hey Chad,

It's pretty straight forward, but much nicer on a lift!

Nick at proauto would likely do it for you cheaply. He's good people and supports the locals well.

EDIT: Sold

Just wanted to throw this out to the local crowd in case anyone is interested before I toss this in with the FS threads. I've got some gaming PC parts from my prior build that I'm looking to let go to a good home.

Parts:
  1. i7 4770K (delid w/ CLU)
  2. ASUS Maximus VI Extreme
  3. 16GB G.SKILL DDR3 2133MHz 1.5V
  4. Noctua NH-D14

I've left everything all assembled, so depending on your setup it could be a direct drop in situation. There is nothing wrong with any of the parts and this setup was great for gaming. I'd prefer to let everything go together but would consider selling pieces if it made sense. PM if you are interested and/or have any questions.

Nothing recent

Well there hasn't been any posts lately so I thought I'd add one.

Last year I was sidelined on I-85 Northbound after getting on at Laurens Rd. I was getting on the gas hard coming up the on ramp and just getting ready to merge when I lost power. Had to coast to a stop. Turns out that saddle-shaped gas tank wasn't feeding the engine from the right side of the tank since all the gas was being pushed to the left. I had over a quarter tank of gas. Tried to restart without any luck. Called AAA who brought gas and she fired right up.

A couple of weeks ago I saw a white Z with tinted windows stalled on Pleasantburg Rd just south of I-85. I suspect the same thing happened to that car too. Luckily the gas station was only a few hundred yards away. I stopped but no one was in the car - just flashing emergency lights.

Doubt I'm making myself roll out of bed early enough to workout and still get there when it starts. I don't think I've been in like 6 months though, need to get back one of these days.

Hey guys. So I just moved to Columbia after being out of the country for 2 years. Picked up a blue '18 6MT in Charlotte that had less than 9k miles after selling my '09 6MT touring when I left. Any recommendations on good dealerships/shops in the area?

Hmmm good dealerships are Hudson Nissan in Charleston and their sister dealer in Charlotte area. I've bought a nismo from both.

Shops well of course z1 motorsports in Ga, soho in Charlotte.

Congrats brother. If you ever want to cruise or whatever send me a pm

Thanks! What about **** Smith? There is a Nissan one literally 3 minutes from my place. Also just noticed you're in Lexington. Haven't seen you but I have seen a black and gun metal Z running around.
