Just to revive this. August is coming up. Second weekend is the concencus among most. So lets plan August (we need to decide if we normally want morning or evening meets)

My suggestion is this: first meet should be everyone get together at perimiter mall at around 4:00pm. hang around for 30 minutes to meet everoyne then drive to D&B on 75. They should hopefully (i think) still run their power play combo. Everyone can eat for 15 bucks and get a 10$ game card. Or we go someplace like bowling. I think a general location where everyone is available for conversation would be good to get things started.

D&B is also a good spot because they would (have seen in the past) hold off some parking spots for groups, put together a table for 20 people etc.

I would love to, but I will be running at road atlanta the second weekend. You guys could go there for a drive and watch the track event.

That's not a bad idea Mike. If the others are up for it. I've never been there.

they have roads all around the track, so you can watch just about every turn if you want to. Its a neat place for spectating.

Mike that is an excellent idea! can you post more details about it? the times, any costs to get in etc. who is runnin and what etc.

Mike 07-19-2010 04:52 AM

Porsche Club is running it and no cost to get in, you just have to sign a waiver at the front gate. Then its pretty much go where you want to, anywhere but on the track for spectators.

daisuke149 07-19-2010 08:24 AM

Oooo damn sounds fun. Wish i could get on the track!

Is it a full track day or the same 20 minute sessiond things?

Mike 07-19-2010 06:15 PM

20-30 minute sessions, but 5 or 6 of them per day
