I'll make another small thread for the Varsity meet up we had. It's only a couple pics, but I'll put them up anyway. I'll post the link here. EDIT: Here you go: http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-p...-dyno-day.html I had a bad experience on the drive home, bro. I was on I-20, about 40 miles from home, and a piece of my undercarriage came off and flew out the back of my car! I was SOOO scared. It appears to just have been the "cosmetic" small cover that "fills in" the dead space on the real lower engine cover/protector. Because of other cars (none of them were hit, thankfully, I had to double back on the interstate and look for the piece, but I couldn't find it. I'm gonna talk to Z1 and see what they think. |
Hey Matt, not sure what went on with that piece. But let me know tomorrow and we will take care of it. And yes sir you did the Z1 stretch like a champ. You all missed Jeremy's car lay it down. Also I would like to personally thank everyone for coming out. Hope to see you guys again soon.

To talk about the monthly meet, should we create a seperate thread or just direct everyone to the thread in the southeast group?
as for my thoughts, yeah z1 would be a great place to host them every time. But it is a haul for everyone. If we do a monthly meet in the same location each month my vote is z1. if its not at z1 i suggest we do not make it a meet at the same location each place. No other spot can offer us what z1 does. So if its going to be a varying location, then the activities will need to vary also. Example: Drive to Unicoi state park and have a bbq up there. Andretti's Heck someones house for a mod meet / whatnot. But like meeting at the varsity each month, offers us a crowded parking lot, no room to work on anything and bad food. |

I want to say well met to all of the guys that I finally had the opportunity to put faces with the names. I would also like to say a VERY HEARTFELT THANK YOU to the guys at Z1 Motorsports for not only making me feel at home but for taking a lot of time out of their day to help me resolve a small issue. I cannot stress enough how appreciative I am for Spencer, Jon, John, Dustin, Russell, and the other guys at Z1.
As those of you were there during my dyno runs know, the HKS EVC6 had not been calibrated for GA yet and I was basically running spring pressure. After a quick call to Sam@GTM, we were pointed in the proper direction and the EVC was set to defaults and recalibrated. The result was exactly what we expected, 485whp and 420wtq. Sam has also informed me that he is sending a new map with a bit more aggressive tune. Next go around, 500whp will be broken at the same boost level. :) I had a blast and again, a huge thank you to Z1 for hosting the event and taking such good care of me and my Zed. I truly look forward to seeing all of you again soon. |

Raybuck,
Very nice pictures. You have a PM by the way! Also, thanks for bringing out the Genesis too. I have yet to be able to see one up close and check it out, very cool. Have you and Bryce lined those two up yet? |

Also my inbox does not show a PM, I guess try shooting me another. Thanks for the great time at the dyno day! It was by far the most organized one I have been to. |
