I love what comes up Z34 Nismo up front and a couple of Z30 behind and of course the 510's

My wife and I are planning on driving down in our new Z to the Mitty event.Can anyone in the Atlanta area give us a few tips on good hotels in the area? Last time I was at Road Atlanta was in 1983 when I crewed a Formula Atlantic car at the SCCA run offs.Will be leaving from the Niagara Falls area of Ontario.Any advice,tips or info would be sincerely appreciated.:tiphat:

That would be a start, also check out Classic Motorsports and watch depending on when you come down, the past couple years on the Friday, they have been doing a drive from Atlanta (Porsche Center to Road Atlanta) and from Chattanooga (Coker Museum)

I have stayed at a marriott that was about 20 miles away, would take you about 30-45 minutes to get to the track...

Thanks danegrey.Got some more research to do. Was looking at the Holiday Inn at Braselton.Is that closer to the track? Been doing a bit of research & the advertising is starting to pop up on the lap top.:tiphat:

Thanks for your help danegrey,it's all coming together. Will run this by her majesty today. I don't think she can do 3 track days in a row.She's not a race fan.I'll get her to drop me off & she can go shopping or whatever strikes her fancy. Got a few months to figure it out.:tiphat:

Re the pic I sent, I have 8 of those cabinets of diecasts, 7 of which are Corvettes which I'm trying to unload. Looks like a winter project. Really enjoying the Z though. I know that feeling, unloaded a lot just had too many and downsized and realize it was worth keeping, so got rid of them and better off without them.

you might want to give replicarz a look at, I sold him part of my collection just to get rid of it, he is always looking and it also depends on what you want to get out of it

Looking at the add, can someone tell me if they are actually letting you run your car on the track?

yes, they are having parade laps, about 4 laps with a lot of other cars, with a lead and a chase car. So as actually driving the track at speed and seeing what you can do NO, for simply getting on the track and saying you were on Road Atlanta yes,
