Why are you doing anything if you cut the wire? Why not just leave it as is and be worry free, that's what I'm doing.

I agree. A proper recall to correct the issue would be completely remove the SLU's and reflash the ecu to account for the removed SLU.

What's the point of putting the fuse back in to take it to the dealer, have them mess around with it, then pull the fuse back out. Aren't you in the same exact spot you were before, only difference...

By fix it you mean have them replace a faulty steering lock with another faulty lock? No thanks, I'll leave my lock disengaged and not worry about dealing with the dealershit.
