I'll rephrase this and say gains between exhausts aren't that big a difference. +/-5 tops. Axlebacks on the other hand are purely for sound as the bottleneck is at the Y pipe and mid pipe connection...

DTS is tucked in likt the standard exhaust but with seperate cans per pipe. The grip sits a bit lower and has branch resonators attached to them. DTS is slightly louder.

BTW, the Tanabe, comes in a massive awesomely packaged box. The install as my shop told me was the easiest exhaust they've done. No tweaking, they literally bolted it on and it was straight.
