Right, thanks for catching that. Maybe those few people will be contacted by Nissan when they mail out the letters to customers? It would cut down on the confusion and worry of everyone with a 2011...

You just need to remove the harness and plug in the original plug if you need the steering to lock during any services. :tup:

It should work, we're just waiting for someone else to cut up their harness first. If my warranty was expired I would do the wire mod. :tup:

2. The harness can be any length. I would say 6-8" would be plenty. The new harness is just an extension of the existing harness with a on/off switch installed.

So, we just need to figure out what to do with Wire #111, if anything at all. Wire 97 will need 12v, wire 98 and 106 need 0v. Have you tried that with wire 111 at 0v or even not connected?
