The steering lock actuator on paper was $1300 parts and labor. Then add in the rental car and tow. Probably would have cost me $1500 to $1600....

So I was wrong. My original warranty date was 16 jan 2010. So it is done. But I did get the extended warranty we will see how this claim goes.
