Yea, it was a rough time =\. Haha

BrickyardZ 03-16-2011 06:40 AM

Great pics. I wish I lived close to have you capture my Z in it's glory.

Parkerman 03-16-2011 09:15 AM

I'm hoping to do more car photography now that I have a nicer car. I just need to find some better places around here.

Only bad thing now is that my previous car was black, so I didn't have to worry to much about the way the color appeared on the car.. because it was black. Now with the blue, I gotta try to make it look as it does in person.

:rock:love the bridge pics, the old school bridge pic reminds me of back home. had to remove it cause it wasn't safe for bus travel

I've had a lot of people tell me that the bridge picture brings back memories for them... I say it was a successful picture.. haha.

nice shots all around, hate to say it but the shot of the Z is the weakest of the set :P i especially love the three C's (color, contrast, composition) in #2

Haha, yea.. I know. The Z shot was just so I had a picture of it. Haven't had the chance to detail it and take it out for a proper shoot yet.

CBRich 03-21-2011 07:59 AM

That is some fantastic stuff.

Becca 04-20-2011 01:47 PM

Lemers 04-24-2011 07:44 PM

Nice job. I only hope the mblue Z at the graveyard isn't a prediction of the Z's future.

gr8-wrx 04-24-2011 08:03 PM

Very nice work

Parkerman 04-25-2011 08:59 AM

Thanks everyone!

I've been meaning to get some better pictures of the Z, but I haven't given it a good detail/I'm still aquiring all the products I need for that. Plus I would rather wait till its not 100% stock... Actually have something done to it.

I lack in my automotive photography, I just don't get much of a chance to do it. Trying to decide if I want to build a rig for rolling shots.

I haven't taken many pictures this year, Mainly just of the snow we had in January, and my sister-in-law's Maternity pictures [and now afew baby pictures]. Oh, and pictures from Chicago of the auto show and Shedd Aquaruim. I really just need to find something new around here to spark my interest. Little burned out on the local area. When you've been somewhere you're whole life, things just don't stand out as much as they would to others... haha. I've been trying to overcome that issue though.

Some of the clouds before all of the tornadoes hit Alabama. This was on my way home from work. The vignette makes some of the clouds look darker than they were, but it was still pretty crazy. Thankfully all the super cells avoided where I live, but just 5miles down the road was hit pretty hard.

Parkerman 04-28-2011 11:02 PM

And another.

Very ominous pics. I would go a little easier on the vignette in first pic, although it might just be my screen.

It is pretty dark/heavy, I thought about toning it back a little bit, I may actually do it.

Josh@STILLEN 04-29-2011 12:44 PM

Thanks!

It took a lot of tries to get.. I've actually thought about trying to do it again in a field with a better sky background.

Red__Zed 05-08-2011 03:34 PM

Amazing work

Becca 05-09-2011 04:28 AM

Top one

I like the top one. I like the how the depth of field fades significantly before the swings end.
