Photoshoot W/ New Canon T2i

I just finished this shoot and did some processing. This camera is a beast. I'm just coming off of a Nikon, so getting used to the Canon comes with a learning curve. These pictures came out well, but the best part is the versatility of the camera, and I'm just getting started. I'm gonna have far more in the future, but for now, you can all enjoy these:

I am gonna do another photo shoot soon with my fiancee posing with the car, much like the one HKYStormFront posted with the red Nismo Z and GTR.

nice outcome

I shoot with a T1i myself, so welcome to the canon family :)

Im very pleased with canon. For the money, it seems like nothing Nikon makes can touch this T2i, especially at 18mp's, it makes HD wallpaper's with ease!

What do you guys use to host your pics? I use photobucket and have been for a while, but it kills quality...

nice photos, i'm a nikon shooter (d90), but i think in the future (1-2yrs) when i make the jump to full frame, its going to be the canon 5d mkII. just a killer camera.

i use flickr. its free, but you can pay $25 a year to go Pro, which IMO is entirely worth it. 2 bucks a month for unlimited, fast, fantastic hosting. to me its a no brainer.

To be honest 18mp is overkill unless you do a lot of croping and more pixels doesn't always mean better quality.

I shoot with a Nikon (D90) and its more camera than I need. I couldn't imagine switching at this point since I've invested so much in lenses and flashes already. I tried the T2i when I was buying the D90. Great image quality, but I just couldn't get use to the controls and ergonomics. These two were pretty close, but I liked the Nikon image processing a little better. Using multiple speedlight flashes is so much easier on the Nikons also.

Not a fanboy or anything, on the contrary, I think you can't lose with either one.:tiphat:

your exactly right 18mp is overkill for most, for me though, I need it, and I agree, nikons seem to have better flash support compared to canon as far as ease goes. I decided against lighting equipment and went with a better camera first so I can get the proper size pics im looking for, lighting will come later. I looked at the d90 and d5000 before buying this, but im happy with this. im no fanboy by any stretch, and whether someone goes with nikon or canon, the quality of the pics is still in the hands of the user!

Awesome! I love the high angles shots. I work for Canon in professional products. Nice to see such use of consumer cameras. You have an excellent eye.
