2017 Eclipse

Hopefully many on here got to go out and see!

Talk about a religious out of this world experience like no other, and I'd thought all these people going on and on about it were on drugs/crazy! I actually feel bad for those that either thought they "saw the eclipse" but only saw 99.8%, which isn't the same at all, or the ones that were within a days drive and decided it wasn't a big deal.

Photographed for over 21+ years, never seen anything more spectacular!

Shot with a Canon 5dmkiv carefully liveview focused after the eclipse phase had begun, which I discovered it's much easier to live view focus as the sun glare decreases.

Some video, watch the whole thing, some 4k zoomed going from totality back to normal, pretty amazing!

By the way, the 370z does amazing on gravel roads!! it stays planted and doesn't skip all over somehow

Amazing day, humbling experience.

I saw 2017 eclipse and the first thing I thought was Mitsubishi announced they were bringing it back. I was disappointed

Disappointed if they were bringing it back or disappointed that they're not bringing it back? I ask because I still have my 2G.

Disappointed because I thought they were going to bring it back but this turned out to be about the god damn sun

Nice pics.

I tried taking a few pics with my cell phone but they didn't work out. Looked pretty neat using a pin-hole. We got a little over 80% coverage here.

Thanks for sharing :tiphat:

Best photos I saw here were mostly of the shadows. Btw, 65% coverage will still blind you. I can't tell you how many people I saw just looking up at it :eekdance:
