'67 Camaro Restomod LS7 Photoshoot - 11/8/15

Joe up at HotRod Dynamics contacted me a couple weeks ago about shooting his Restomod '67 Camaro and after taking a peek at the build album on their website, I was chomping at the bit to see this beast in person! The car is an original '67 body that has had pretty much everything else replaced in one form or fashion. At the heart of this machine is a built LS7 bolted to a T56M trans through a dual friction clutch. Power is delivered through a custom rear axle with a Detroit TrueTrac. Stopping duty is handled by C6 Z06 brakes front and rear with Hawk pads and DBA cross slotted rotors. The interior is OEM modded and painted with a leather wrapped dash pad, full cage and Sparco seats, and a Pioneer double din navigation system round out a flawless, simple cabin. This car is no garage queen, either. Joe did the Power Tour in 2013 with this car, recently ran it at WannaGoFast in Clayton, GA, and proceeded to win a "Best Style & Engineering" award at the Charlotte Auto Fair. The best way I can describe this car is that it's as if you made a "dream build" list and then checked off every single box! Oh, and it runs like a scalded dog! Enough text, on to the pics!

Fav's:

1. Stance/stagger done right!

2. Almost more of a marvel to behold underneath, this car rides on a fully modern coilover suspension and front end with a modified 3 link rear

3. Long tube headers are a beautiful thing, the remainder of the exhaust was custom fab'd by Joe

4. The beating heart of the beast

5. Simple, elegant, but racy at the same time

6. Comfy for the long trips!

7. 18x11's wrapped with 335 width Toyo R888's dominate the rear view of this machine

Beautiful, but too much for my bank. Plus I would need to build an addition to my garage.

This car looks like one of the few Camaros that were featured in HotRod magazine that Mark Stielow built
