Elicit Design Solutions Photoshoot - 5/3/15
 

A few weeks ago some of the guys up at Elicit Design Solutions in Charlotte contacted me about getting a photoshoot together with some of their most recently wrapped cars. Chris, the owner of the shop wanted to show off the new premium vinyl wrap he'd done on his wife's C300 Mercedes, I hadn't gotten any shots of Tim's 370z since he'd done the lizard green wrap (complete with scales under the vinyl!), and Jeremy's G35 had just been finished up with a similar wrap as Chris' Merc though they used a black base layer which changed the outcome dramatically. These guys do an amazing job wrapping cars. They simply look perfect in every way. Hope to do my GXP one of these days, I've already got a good theme idea!

4. The brake calipers on these cars are also wrapped in a fluorescent reflective vinyl that lights up at night

5. We stopped briefly in the CPCC area and found this access road around the football field

7. It was hilarious seeing everyone stop to take pictures and video of this trio rolling through the uptown on the streets

Awesome set! The scales are really cool! And I love #3 on here, how the background coloring of the building matches the paint on the G, very cool!

Very nice! I like the g35 color the best but all three are amazing. The church is a cool backdrop too!

I just saw on your website you did a Elicit Designs Photoshoot in September of last Year. You mind telling me the place you did it? Or any other nice locations to take pics in/around Charlotte area?

I tried UNCC parking deck, but they close them around 8pm

I love Tim's wrap because of its reflections/shine as opposed to the matte look.

While I don't want to give away all my "trade secrets", the photoshoot we did back in September was up near the Concord airport. If you look on Google maps, you will find it. We just drove in and asked permission and they were cool with it. However, you didn't hear that from me!

Yeah, Tim's car is a real head turner, I wish the girl walking on the street had been looking at his car when I snapped the picture, she was looking at it right before I did while talking on the phone!

Ah ok. I heard nothing about any good places. I need to join CZC. Missed many Cars N Coffee as well due to work..:/
