Tyler's GTR Photoshoot - 2/15/15

About three and a half years ago, Matt got me to shoot some pictures of his brand spanking new 2012 GTR Black Edition, which we later found out was the lowest VIN number in sequence making it the first BE made. Last year Matt ended up selling the car to a fellow GTR enthusiast in the Atlanta area named Tyler to buy his GTR Nismo which I shot a few months ago when it was delivered. Tyler has been after me to get some pictures of his car since Matt had made a few tasteful changes to the car since the last time I had seen it. The car's new owner has been taking great care of it and has a few small changes already made including injectors and a custom tune to accompany the aftermarket mid-pipe that Matt had installed. He also has a few more items coming but we decided to shoot this past weekend while we both had the time. We met out at the West Georgia airport near Z1 Motorsports and being a cloudy, cold, and windy day we pretty much had the run of the place. And by "run" I mean a few good runs down the taxiways! I am glad that we got a chance to do this as this is truly a very special car that has had two special owners. Enough babbling though, on to the pictures!

Tyler's GTR Photoshoot - 2/15/15 - JPMcG Photography

Fav's:

1. You don't even want to know how I accomplished this shot as I do not have a car rig LOL
http://jpmcgphotography.smugmug.com/...MG_3556-XL.jpg

2. Exterior mods include paint match blacked out wheels, Nording carbon grille cover, and Nording rear trunk lip
http://jpmcgphotography.smugmug.com/...MG_3583-XL.jpg

3. While I can see how some have trouble calling it a "beautiful" car, the R35 is still a fascinating shape and this angle really shows it off
http://jpmcgphotography.smugmug.com/...MG_3606-XL.jpg

4. The blacked out wheels really make the car look a lot more menacing, more sinister, in my opinion
http://jpmcgphotography.smugmug.com/...MG_3625-XL.jpg

5. We were able to use an empty small plane hangar for a few shots with the lights as well
http://jpmcgphotography.smugmug.com/...MG_3666-XL.jpg

6. Mostly stock under the hood, for now ;)
http://jpmcgphotography.smugmug.com/...MG_3692-XL.jpg

7. Tyler said he hopes to get the JDM option carbon fiber floor mats like Matt had in the car before he sold it
http://jpmcgphotography.smugmug.com/...MG_3714-XL.jpg

8. Still my favorite USDM seats in a GTR

Thanks for looking, plenty more in the album so stop in and check them out! Comments and feedback welcome, as always!

Ha! Thankfully nobody really took any BTS stuff, the owner's girlfriend was holding my legs while I hung out the rear passenger door of my G8 GXP while another friend drove it as fast as he possibly could. We were doing 120mph while the majority of my torso was 1' from the ground trying to take pictures :ugh2:
